  1. And was played on actual instruments, not computers.
  2. Haters gonna hate, but the Dead most likely have a bigger following than all of the crap hair bands you all like so much. Just saying.
  3. No affiliation, but it looks to be in great shape for its age. https://www.talkbass.com/threads/hamer-blitz-explorer-bass.1627906/
  4. There's cheap ones out there, just got to look. 🙄 https://reverb.com/item/70815028-hamer-usa-standard-custom-x-style-explorer-2004-59-burst?utm_source=criteo&utm_medium=display&utm_campaign=Criteo-US-SimilarAudience-MF-2021Q4&utm_content=300x600&cto_pld=XDAdgS5jAAAT38cQtT6i9w
  5. I would try your local Craigslist, there's always a bunch of beginner guitars for short money on there.
  6. The seller is from Taunton, MA. That's really all the info you need right there.
  7. Just came across this one over on TBF, no affiliation. https://www.talkbass.com/threads/early-big-box-barber-tone-press-parallel-compressor.1621968/
  8. I guess its a set it and forget situation with that amp.
  9. I know there was some talk way back when, but haven't heard anything recently.
  10. My son's middle name is Star, so I can call him Star Child* * P Funk reference
  11. No affiliation, just showed up on my Reverb feed, damn sexy guitar at a very reasonable price. https://reverb.com/item/71967307-usa-made-robin-ranger-seafoam-green-w-hard-case-strap?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=US-Display-Retarget&utm_adgroup=Retarget-Display-ShoppingCartAbandoners&keyword=&devicemodel=&adposition=&matchtype=&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI3rKD_Kb1gAMVAfqzCh0f0ArEEAEYASADEgIte_D_BwE
  12. Between the Basement Tapes and Music From Big Pink, RR helped set the pace for what was to come in the world of Folk Rock/Americana, and for that I am grateful. I actually enjoyed some of his later solo albums as well, with Contact from the Underworld getting lots of play time in my house over the years. RIP Mr Robertson, rock on.
  13. Damn, nice score! I stopped buying electric guitars a few years ago, but I would be hard pressed to pass on this one if I came across it in the wild.
  14. Some curious mods, pretty sure not Hamer pickups, most likely DiMarzio, not Grover tuners and what is the deal with that tailpiece? Yikes. Overall a not outrageous price for a great guitar that needs help getting back to greatness. https://www.themusiczoo.com/products/hamer-usa-artist-korina-natural-used?goal=0_63363c100e-c40b6fd66b-140887885&mc_cid=c40b6fd66b&mc_eid=c4440d555d
  15. I've got a great set of Josh's pickups in a telemaster with a none-screw pole pieced P90 in the neck that brought that guitar to the next level.
  16. I'd rather have a great sound guy than an okay guitarist any day.
  17. Nice bass, but damn if those aren't the rustiest strings I have ever seen. I know they are quite a bit more expensive than guitar strings, but not that much more. Give that beauty some love. PM me if you really can't afford strings, I've got a bunch of round wound sets, as I always swap them out for flatwounds.
  18. Alright, to keep it properly simple, let's call it an esquire, no switches to worry about.
  19. I stick with tele's, much easier to navigate, problem solved.
  20. Got tix for Les Claypool's Flying Frog Brigade this summer, looking forward to it.
