Although it shouldn't need to be said, the aforementioned item is NOT an available option. MC hit that mofo on the head! With money being so tight for so many, when fans to have a little in their pocket they need the most for the money. It is win/win for the artist and the fans.

My vote is we need to make the England Trip happen. That is a gig that most of use could only dream of and we can live it through the WBS! I'm willing to dig in my pocket to help fund the trip.

The ones pictured in the thread were SD Strat Bro 90's. SD Single Coil P90's, they were not as big and fat as I expected. I was thinking Phatcat, they were more Phatkitty. Trying the Hot Stack Plus Bridge, Neck and a Classic Hot Stack Plus in the middle. This Daytona is equal or better than the first one I had. I really lucked out when I found it. I'll just keep trying new pickups until I hit the majic set. In my first Daytona I ended up with Dimarzio Blues Pickups. They were great and were in the guitar until I sold it. When I switched the SD Back in for a test run before shipping I found a completely different dynamic sound I was missing. So I want to meet those two tones in the middle. Tuff to live up to the Phantom, Newport and the Tally.

This is the second longest project ever. Third set of pickups are wired up, but the final parts are in transit. I'm going to call if quits if this set doesn't at least get me close and just admit i'm not a start guy.

A DR. Z RX JR, I was looking for an 18 watt single channel amp with a really good MV. The amp sounded great until I introduced the MV. Everything I purchase will be put up agains the SD30, it really is a benchmark for me. The SD30 amp will do anything you ask it to, but I would like a smaller setup. I have been toying and asking Jeff Bober a few questions about the Studio 2 and may still try it out if I can find one used at a good price. What I think I would rather have but cannot find one used yet is an East 18 and a 1x12 or 1x10 ext cab. The Dr Z and the Soldano, both made my ears ring almost instantly and when you play Hamers with Sustainblocks not just anything works.

What gives me gas more than any other guitar is the "Butcher/Kiz" Special.

That Schecter is HOT! Dunno, I think its more of the thrill of the kill at this point. I would like to get and East Amplifier or another Tally but that would require a sale.

I am pretty damn happy with what I have, but feeling gassy dammit! I thought I had killed it last week, I bought and amp and didn't like it so I sold it. I just have to wait it out a little longer my Phantom should be getting close to the next stage of construction.

Nope he left just recently. It is now Jim Wagner Pickups and the pickups are all the same. Jim moved "OFF THE GRID" to BFE out in the mountains. I must be the only guy on the HFC that completely dislikes the Dimarzio 36th Pickups. Bought a set put them a fantastic Vintage Sunburst and they didn't last 48hrs in that guitar. WCR you can't go wrong with, but IMHO Seymour has been getting it done for a long time. Try the Custom 5, I had one in my Hog Standard and loved it.

Blows my mind that Ovation is gone as well. I mean we knew the end would come sometime for Hamer, but to loose all those brands in one swipe of a pen or one phone call is pretty devastating.
