I've been converted over to the longer scale length. The Mirage and Daytona appeal to me nowadays. I like the humbuckers and the singles that I have in them. They certainly provide a nice array of tones that don't overlap too much. But I need to get a Tele and short scale HB guitar to round out the spectrum - because I am a fickle and faithless when it comes to guitars.

My 14 year old daughter just walked by. I'm getting a kick out of seeing these guys do their things. She looks at me and says, "Was this cool? 60 year old guys wearing makeup?" Walks off. Ouch.

Suit yourself. I think the accordion is way cool. Tejano music, zydeco, vallenata and cumbias all incorporate the accordion. And it sounds funny covering 80s pop.

But if I like what I hear and I'm digging it, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. Sorry to hear about the gig, MCC. I'm sure you'll land on your feet. As for VH, I'll reserve judgment on the album until I hear it. They may have just pulled a rabbit out of a hat. Despite what Sammy says, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.
