But if I like what I hear and I'm digging it, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. Sorry to hear about the gig, MCC. I'm sure you'll land on your feet. As for VH, I'll reserve judgment on the album until I hear it. They may have just pulled a rabbit out of a hat. Despite what Sammy says, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

Are there turntables with USB ports that can convert the analog signal into something the computer can record? Or an adapator that essentially does the same thing?

Not what I expected as a first single, but I liked it well enough. It won't make me forget "Everybody Wants Some." But we're talking an AARP aged VH after all. So a bit of a mid-tempo number isn't so bad. The guys behind the glass deserve a Grammy - they make Dave's vocals sound like the good old Diamond Dave, when the clips of She's the Woman reveal a DLR gasping after every phrase.

Mine gets along very well with my visual sound and seymour duncan pedals. It offers plenty of bang for buck. As far as loud goes, it's 15 watts and plenty loud for me. But I don't gig. Check out the threads about the amp here and at other places and see what you think.

The Mesa Maverick and TM60 remain in the closet. The Superchamp XD does the trick for me.

What's the value of the capacitor you're using?

Taking the pickguard off makes the boomers and the binding really stand out. I like it!
