diablo175 Posted Thursday at 05:05 PM Posted Thursday at 05:05 PM Dammit, I don't have but one each of a Cali Custom and a Standard. But I got two custom shop Charvel DK24's and Charvel is owned by FMIC which used to own (and then killed off) Hamer. 9 Quote
ChugD Posted Thursday at 06:23 PM Posted Thursday at 06:23 PM (edited) Early 1984 Jackson soloists ordered by Gary Pihl of Boston. These are the 2nd and 3rd Jackson built after Jeff Beck's pink one with three singles (defiled by Tina Turner). Sequential serial numbers. They have seen big stadiums with Brad playing the hard tail and Gary playing the Kahler. They are fantastic instruments. Edited Thursday at 06:35 PM by ChugD 8 Quote
ChugD Posted Thursday at 06:24 PM Posted Thursday at 06:24 PM Robin twins with Dolphin inlays. Also sequential serial numbers. 9 Quote
Travis Posted yesterday at 12:32 AM Posted yesterday at 12:32 AM (edited) If we’re going way back… 1989 Charvel 750xl’s. Made in Japan for one year only. Thick mahogany body, carved maple top, 24.75” mahogany set neck with blended heel to appear neck thru. If a Les Paul was built for shredding… The trans red and the CSB in the middle had sequential serial numbers. The plain CSB on the right sounded ungodly…. BoogieMKIIA Posted yesterday at 02:39 AM Posted yesterday at 02:39 AM Wow, crazy good collections! Makes me wonder the HFC membership guitar net worth could be. Quote
velorush Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Regerts? I've had a few. I'd take these two back. Took some pics of these two around the same time. The black one is the best sounding stock Fender I've ever owned (Roadhouse from '97). The green one (allegedly Sherwood green but IMO way too dark for true Sherwood) is the worst sounding Fender I've ever owned. You've had those guitars that no matter what pickups are in it it still sounds terrible? Lastly, the current pair of partscasters. The Stretchocaster II on the right is about to be torn back down for Lake Placid blue and a new tort guard. It has become an absolute favorite (Fender Player II hollow mahogany body - the whole guitar weighs right at 6 lbs.) ChatGPT helped me visualize the LPB version: From: To: 6 Quote

RobB Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) Best Hamers I've owned by far, followed closely by my Graphic Special. The early '80s and the mid-'90s are my jam... Edited 3 hours ago by RobB 6 Quote
The Shark Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago This thread made me realize something. I only take solo photos of guitars. But I do have one. Hat tip to our own Greg Platzer. I still have the tobacco one. 4 Quote
stobro Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I have a couple of Cruise basses. I also have a pair of indigo blue Monacos, one a bass and the other an elite (and an indigo T51). Outside of Hamers, I have a sextet of Peavey Razers. 4 Quote
