darc Posted June 7, 2006 Posted June 7, 2006 I would like to get my bouncing jugs an honorable mention....watch then and listen to Beastie Boys "No Sleep till Brooklyn"You can't vote for yourself. Very unfunny.
MCChris Posted June 7, 2006 Posted June 7, 2006 I think we need a recount. There's a new sheriff in town:http://www.hamerfanclub.com/forums/index.p...ndpost&p=117459
pesocaster Posted June 7, 2006 Posted June 7, 2006 But Peso gets a nod for his story about hamburger-induced gastric distress. Ah thanks Mike......... I still shudder thinking about that night..... and the poor sob that was next in line for the can..... hahahaha
Jorge Posted June 7, 2006 Author Posted June 7, 2006 Damn, I made the list? Yes Sir, not Recht´s kind of humor that's all, maybe you're British? Chears!
Brooks Posted June 7, 2006 Posted June 7, 2006 rhects was so funny before his falling out w/ greg that he gets my vote (even tho nowadays he is not funny, just bitter ).
JohnnyB Posted June 7, 2006 Posted June 7, 2006 Ed, in his anti-Joe/anti-AnDy days was tops.Ohh, yeah.Remember when Ed referred to AnDy as PanZy?Back then I was looking for Hamers on eBay and came across one where the seller's name was "Panzyizadoosh".
BCR Greg Posted June 7, 2006 Posted June 7, 2006 Rechts, in the old days. Nobody has made me laugh out loud as many times as he did.
Rechts Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 We used to have some good times here, that's for sure. I wish I still had all those Photoshops I did...I literally learned that tool just to make fun of pAnZy and Spidey.Brooks, I assure you I am not bitter. I dig your pedalboard, by the way.I was cleaning out my email a few weeks back and found this gem from the past:PanzyAlf stole my haircutAnd I didn’t get a dimeSo I hijacked Mister PeabodyTo take me back in time1983, that’s where I want to goBack to the days of John Hughes moviesAnd Nancy Reagan “Just Say No”Back to the glory days of HamerLike the ones played by Brad GillisWhen Arnold Drummond shouted out“Whatchoo talkin’ bout, Willis?”Chorus:PanzyPanzeeeeeeeeSherman tell your nerd dog take us back to ‘83PanzyPanzeeeeeeeeI need shelter from the bitchslap Ed Rechts is giving mePeter Fung outbid meSo I whined and called him greedyI threw a temper tantrumJust like that girl, Ally SheedyPlay some 80s musicAnd I’ll get up to danceDressed in my Members Only jacketAnd some parachute pantsChorusIf you give me greifor disagree with meI'll take the letters of your screen nameand rhyme it with "poo poo" and "pee pee" If you made an 80s sandwichI would be the hamPressed between George MichaelAnd that other guy from Wham!Chorus, repeat add naseum, insert obligatory whammy bar outro
Lockbody Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 That's great stuff, mang.Good times can still be had.
Stike Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 Gotta vote for E.R. as well. I've used a few of his metaphors in the past. Got to meet the legend very briefly at NAMM this year but unfortunately due to jet lag and a cheap hotel nowhere near the Hilton ( and that I insisted on eating at Roscoe's down in Long Beach every night ) I missed my chance for an evening of drinks and lies with that freak.

The myth, the man, the legend himself was at NAMM this year?! I knew I shoulda hung out with the Hamer guys some more. Next year, I won't be making such a mistake again. Only ONE day with the drunken folks over at Dean!
cmatthes Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 That was too freakin' funny! I'd LOVE to hear that recorded... I've also used a few of Stike's witticisms ("Kicks more ass than a cross-eyed Rockette", etc.)
Rechts Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 JohnnyB, I established that fake account when I made that photoshop of the missing "wing" that some 'tard had sawed off his Mahogany Standard and was selling on eBay. If I recall, cmatthes won the fake auction, and we left each other silly feedback. I don't know if any of you guys remember that.... I was going to start putting up ridiculous items on there under the rock and roll memorabilia category, stuff like the remaining sandwich that killed Mama Cass (with COA), and Elvis' mom's bowling ball (I stenciled "Gladys" onto a pic of a a beatup old ball)...but as I so often do, I flaked. If anybody has any of my old photoshops, I'd love to see them again. I think Kiz probably has a bunch, but I doubt he is in the mood to do me any favors. BTW, I'd nominate Kiz as funniest HFCer, myself. Here's a p-shop I did when me and Stike were messing around with Greg:
Scottcrud Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 I would say Alpep AND Kizanski are funnier than anyone listed on the poll. I've laughed more from those guys than all the rest of you guys put together. Kurtstuff pretty funny too, but in a different way
cmatthes Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 That was the most resonant sawed-off triangle of mahogany I've ever heard. Played. Uh, struck with a mallet...
Dasein Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 It's actually me, but you sons of bitches haven't bothered to figure that out yet ---that plus I've been pretty busy. You've until the next poll to get it right.
Turdus Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 Rechts -- If you did not check in on this thread, I was afraid I may have to post this, LOL!
MCChris Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 I wish I still had all those Photoshops I did... So you're saying that pAnZy/ALF comparison is gone? If so, that's a tragedy.
HamerHokie Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 I wish I still had all those Photoshops I did... So you're saying that pAnZy/ALF comparison is gone? If so, that's a tragedy. When it came to photoshopping, Ed truly had flawless technique.
