harryland Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 My first Hamer: 1992 sunburst archtop. I bought it on ebay a few years ago. Together with 9 1352. a.k.a. Nitebob's sunburst. 8 0475 a.k.a. Tiger Wood. 9 0838. A great guitar. 9 0943. This one was on consignment in a local shop last year. For a good price, but with the wrong block.
BadgerDave Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 Gone but not forgotten: Still in the stable:
Guest pirateflynn Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 Gone but not forgotten: Love that natural one.
kizanski Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 I didn't forget anything-I thought that PF HAD the black bastard. Didn't know he had a '79 also. (Flynn wrote "My former '79 Blackie" above it). 8 0213 is somewhere in the great state of Nevada with some Kilroy fellow.
Jorge Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 1985 Electraglide: Oh my God. The perfect Hamer.
serial Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 1985 Electraglide: Oh my God. The perfect Hamer. I got that one seventeen years after I first saw it when it arrived new at the dealer and was told when I asked the owner how much it was, "sorry, it's spoken for". THAT's perseverence. Edited to add-it even has the RIGHT headstock!!
Guest pirateflynn Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 I don't get much time these days for porn but here's a quicky I shot this morning. My '78

RkR Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 Hi everyone! I haven't been on the board in a while but I LOVE it when I come back and find a new Sunburst appreciation thread. Here's my $0.02 : 1978 8-0131 All original, early shimmed bridge, long/thin headstock w/ Grover Bullseyes, fairly chunky neck profile. It's been a favorite of mine for a long time.
Steve Jackson Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 What a great thread! Thought I should post them here as well. I have so many more colors to get It's great to see them all Trans Red fade out 1980 Serial No 0-1650 My recent ebay 1978 Serial No 8-0140 I should have my third Sunburst real soon!!!
Gitslide Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 This is my '79. It would be wrong to call it a "player". More like "PLAYED". It's been mine since I bought it new in 1979. Always the go-to guitar, sets me on the right path. It's thrashed and trashed, there's places on the neck where I've worn the paint right off. Amazingly, never been broken! Now I wonder where that '78 Sunburst is that I traded into GC in the early 1990s?
Guest pirateflynn Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 Hey ...... nice one. Here's my '79 Trans Red, now corrected with original pickups.
dirk Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 Talking about being PLAYED!!! Here's a 1978 Sunburst B&C. Sounds great, plays great but was badly abused.
