velorush Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 Very nice. How about a video showing how well they handle higher gain stuff.... And what about clean (I know, never satisfied)? How are they together (given the difference in output)? Does the bridge overpower the neck? See what you started unkagreg? Oh, and I liked the playing, too. I really liked the one with the old LP Special.
sw686blue Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 Fabulous playing Greg! Really enjoyed that.

I really liked the one with the old LP Special. I love them clean. Neck or in the Middle. The neck pup to me, is Jazzy, plenty of note POP and extremely balanced. Together is a nice blanket of warm tone. Man I got to go get that guitar out.
murkat Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 I dont know who the little guy is but he sounds good. Well, that was all well and good, and great tones! and exellent note taste, But, when its all said and done my friends, Greg f*#ck'n spanks that dbl cut jr. like it aint no bizzness. My god. that is love right there man. He "knows" that fiddle. pure sixstring sex.

They are better that I remember. It got me going when I heard Greg playing because I remembered that the Harmonics come with ease with these pups. I have plenty more Paf's around that I used too, and as a "SET" thes rock. Start on the bridge, go to the middle, then the neck and it's almost like you just slide the up from the bridge to the neck. For me the tone just gets warmer and a little rounder sounds fantastic !... So enough. I would say another word, i'm not a pusher but there was enought interest from guys on the board that I just wanted them to know that they will not be dissapointed it a PAF is your thing. WB makes some great pups.
