Hey all you Mpls crazies. If you happen to be in town over Labor Day Weekend, stop by for the latest Mpls jam. Pam has agreed to make the roadtrip from her Rockford gig, so there will be women in the house! Woo Hoo!

I know it's a holiday weekend, and people are likely to be busy, but if works out, please stop by, Sunday, September 4, 8:00 PM. You know I like a house full of HFC'ers!

Edited to add that THIS is what happens when women show up at the 4-3-2-1 Club:

Looks good for me!

I'll try, bit I doubt it. We're playing at the Marquette (MI) Blues Festival and a bar gig there on Saturday so it depends when we get back and how I feel.

I'll be there! Bring me your I-IV-V songs!!! Come on!!! Bring 'em on! I'll take 'em all on!!! Damn.. we were one helluva girl band that night! hahahaha!

I'll have to sit this one out AGAIN. But I'll be thinking about you guys while sipping Margaritas on the boat.

4-3-2-1 club? Is this one of those clubs where you knock on a door and someone checks you out through the little sliding window dealie? I am a newbie living in Mpls. and am curious about such things as HFC jams. I am also very shy, don't drink or swear, and play only for the glory of our Lord. I will keep my eyes lowered to the ground at all times and speak only when spoken to - do I qualify? Can I bring BOTH Marshall full stacks or will just one do? Seriously, if there is any way to cadge an invite to one of these fine events, let me know what I need to do and where to go, and I'll be there in a flash to meet some fellow Hamer crazies. I would also love to host a jam when my "studio" is finished this fall, so someone give me the skinny please. Z

P.S. Should I bring the pyro tubes and some "flashies" for those thundering finales? ZZ

Playing that night, but I'll make ONE of these soon, Bruce.

I have a little present for the club, you'll have to wait and see.......

I'm such a wimp when it comes to temptation. I have a TON of household projects I was planning on tackling that weekend. I'll keep you posted, but I'm definitely considering it!

So far I'm open ( that could change at any time, of course).

It'll be good -it's been awhile

Nah, it's just my basement. Come on over, and all the regulars know to enter through the back door. All the debauchery usually occurs on the back porch, so you should be safe downstairs. :) I've got lots of amps, and not too much space for more since the basement's fairly small, but that's not to say you shouldn't bring a favorite if you've got one. There's usually at least one additional amp that makes an appearance, but you've got to lug it down the steep and narrow basement steps. What we do get in abundance is very cool guitars, so bring your favorites to show off. Can't wait to see what BadgerDave's bringing this time!

I'll email address and directions.

Bill W, where are you?

The plan was to be out of town all weekend... I may be able to work something out but I may need your help at practice on Tuesday Bruce... you create a diversion while I tell Toni I was always going to be going back early... ha ha...

it's not out of the question.

A no-swearing no-drinking christian?? Don't worry, hon...we here at Bruce's Den of Iniquity will fix all that up for you in no time!

Hey Zoner, RELAX. The Mpls. HFC jams are about playing guitars and having a good time. I certainly don't care if you don't drink. That's your business. Same with cussing. I respect the rights of a person to have whatever faith they want to have whether it's in God, Buhdda, Vishnu,... you know what I mean. I think you'll find that we are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet.

This is looking good for me too. Being its the holiday weekend and all there is still talk of being at the inlaws but I think I have booked an early return trip.

Now for the question of the night? Who's playing on missippi queen?

If it we're last night, I could've come. But Labor Day weekend (and Memorial and 4th of July) in this family means up north at the cabin. I have accepted my role this year as the outsider. My short term goal in life it to make one of Bruce's 2005 jams. I hope I will get at least one more opportunitie. Have fun and play loud.
