crunchee Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 IIRC, sometimes you don't get a rejection notice on an offer of ANY type, you have to go look it up on the auction to find out. Sometimes a offer can sit and expire, it's entirely up to the seller if they want to respond one way or the other or not at all, and you won't know until it's too late. In the last few months, I've noticed a significant lag time (sometimes more than a hour) between items I won or purchased, and receiving any type of notification via email from FeeBay. Some auctions I get notified on immediately, some I don't...there's no pattern as far as which will, and which won't. Trust me, I know something about FeeBay and rejection!
veatch Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 I recently made an offer that expired and was not notified at all.
bubs_42 Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 Same here I had to check the auction. For the record I made the higher offer.
LucSulla Posted April 18, 2013 Author Posted April 18, 2013 You may not believe in eBay, but eBay believes in you.
django49 Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 PROBABLY not directly related, but eBay stock took a bit of a dump after losing that sale!
ptm1diver Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 Ok. I think we shot this one into little pieces. Thanks for the insight from all. In the past, I guess I was lucky to get the responses I received. I'm pleased a fellow HFCer got the axe. Just one last thing. Please let me know how you like it when you get it. To all, stay well.

bubs_42 Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 Check out Feyman III, Brentrocks, Thorn, Bubs42, yadayadayada You know I remember the day when I kept everything I bought. My cycle of selling and buying and buying and selling started when I had kids. I think its a panic reflex. The rest of those guys are just crazy.
bubs_42 Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 Giant Open Chords and FAT Single Notes, its what I loved to hear in the Superpro but with more focus and bottom end. I may have less guitars these days but IMHO I own some of the best guitars made. Thanks to the seller this guitar ROCKS!
Hbom Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 I'll take $1200 shippedTo me?What I meant to say was "Does that include the 49th state?"
bubs_42 Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 We can talk shipping if you want it. This will pretty much make everything you have obsolete. Perfect in every way, I am not a Chambered Guy even though Platzer seems to think he can change my mind. You gain definition and a bloom with chambered guitars that make them sound huge, but you loose a little focus and punch hey but thats just me.I just would like to fund my Proto Build and another project that I would like to start down the Road. YOU CANNOT GET THIS MUCH GUITAR FOR THIS MONEY ANYWHERE!!!!! Hbom i'm not yelling at you i'm yelling at the whole community that doesn't want to shell out the goods for IMHO the best years for Hamers.
Hbom Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 I don't need another guitar. I don't need another guitar. I don't need another guitar. If this will make all my other guitars obsolete, are you interested in trades for all the guitars I won't need anymore? PM sent
Hbom Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Couldn't work it out.Somebody PLEASE buy this guitar while I still have both of my kidneys.
bubs_42 Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Vintage Carve It was a dead ringer for my 77 Sunburst. The neck size is perfection.
bubs_42 Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 Nibble, Nibble, Nibble, what not to like about this one. ULTIMATE TOP and Chambered not to many Chambered Studio's out there. Just saying
Caddie Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 "I have 4 Hamers already and one more or less is no big deal." Only 4 Hamers?! Perhaps your membership here should be reconsidered sir."
