Creating A Hamer: a behind the scenes look

cello.JPG Another kind of D'Angelico

A one-off Cello guitar made for Tommy Lucas, guitarist in the Ed Sullivan Show Orchestra.

Rick N. isn't the first to order a wacky hybrid.

Since Northfield is the one restoring this D'Angelico, I'll assume it's Mike S.?

(I'll know for sure as soon as I get my copy of the Hamer book)

Oh my fucking Ahla. That's it! Isn't that awesome? My stomach is killing me from laughing. Each time you and Andy say that, I picture you guys on there instead of Peter.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

If I can through next week, then I'll laugh even harder.

Think he means the guy doing the work not the guitar's owner.

Yes exactly.

It looks like Mike Shishkov doing the work (Not sure I spelled his last name correctly).

After all the Hamers are built that are ordered of course! :D

Last time I talked with Elliott Rubinson from Dean in February I told him he should buy the brand. :huh:B)

The Hamer name is less important to me than the folks in the shop (and in this thread :) ) that actually build the guitars.

That being said, if a certain individual whose last name rhymes with Hamer cooked something up, I would be very interested indeed. :)
