Wife's 50th - Gift ideas?

cynic

Question

First, she says she doesn't need any guitars. :(

She loves Vegas, so we're already planning a week there, to include the hiking in the Valley of Fire, the Boulder Dam tours, the chocolate factory tour, KISS mini-golf, several shows and nice dinners, trying to get a mix of typical and not-so-typical Vegas stuff.......but, that doesn't give her anything she can hang onto that will remind her of all the above.

Anyone already hit a home run on this that can throw some suggestions my way?

I'm not looking for the typical jewelry or handbag solution.....but something more unique. I've got a few ideas but am open to more.

What a coincidence! My wife will be 50 next month, and I have no idea what to get her.

She doesn't need anything, and she has no hobbies to speak of. I'm drawing a blank!

We need suggestions!

They can always use a helping hand.

A 21-ish maid would be perfect.

All day spa treatment in Las Vegas would be good. Got my wife an all day head to toe spa day at the 4 seasons in Maui.

My wife hates to cloths shop, so I got her a personal shopper and the shopper found her a punch of cool cloths, on sale too. Nordstorms.

it's the dreaded jewelry suggestion, but all my wife wanted was a wedding ring diamond upgrade to a "Leo" diamond. I was like who?

whatever... it worked.

Having seen this man in his tighty whities on one occasion and heard him smash through "I Wanna Be Your Dog" on several, I'd have never guessed he was such a pampering romantic.

Johnny for the win!!

It can be a tandem massage, so the both of you, in Vegas, Tandem massage with something quirky: mud, honey, beer, champagne (that exists)

and then a nice romantic evening diner in a beautiful resto..and then..get ready for action cause you're getting lucky!!!! :D

Roses are great too when arriving to the hotel room...

I do not recall in what's the places name - one of the hotels on the oppose side of the casino with the pirate show. Anyway, my wife LOVED those flower balls. Maybe that's an idea to hang on...

Same problem, dated in two weeks time. Investment have been made. Dunno if it works.

Monte, that photo was taken in Wynn Las Vegas. We stayed there several years ago when we went out to see Spamalot.

Thanks all for the suggestions so far, please keep them coming.

Personal shopper, massages, a new amp, got it! I'll hold off on the AARP membership since she shot down my HILARIOUS idea of attending the musical "Menopause" on her birthday.

Jay, great ideas.....I'm a big fan of the small/sweet/simple things, and have lots of planned, but so far am lacking that special keepsake that won't end up in a box in a closet.

ALL WRONG!

Here's the ticket.

Renew your vows here: http://www.elvischapel.com/

1) It'll be seen as original.

2) You get to "tell her you'd marry her all over again"

3) If you'd ever plan on renewing your vows, she'd probably be pissed if you wanted to have Elvis officiate. This way it's a laugh

4) Honeymoon sex

That's me, she loves it when "I want to be her dog".

Is there a video of her demonstrating the, um, installation and extraction?

I wonder if she was a Penthouse Pet, as she's wearing the Penthouse key on her necklace.

If that's the key to success...

If she doesn't have them, I would suggest the pocket-size personal trainer, Lelo Ben Wa Balls. Available at Amazon.com http://www.amazon.com/Beauty-Beads-Seller-Bodycare-BeautyCare/dp/B00FRFCK42/ref=sr_1_sc_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1384526518&sr=8-4-spell&keywords=lelo+benwa+balls

Seriously, if you want to continue talking about them do it somewhere other than my thread.
