Its a longshot, but I wonder if this poor fellow actually thinks (or was told) this is possibly 1976 model by flawed serial number logic rather than a 1986.

Yes, I'm trying to take the high road here. (Que studio audience laugh track here).

What a dumbass.

Intellectually challenged is the polite term.

It is an early one and note the Kahler Fulcrum, which was intended to be standard issue on the basic Chaparral. The blade switch is a later addition as it should be three mini-switches, the new insert matches their position.

Sounds fair, I think I'll buy it...for my wife, Morgan Fairchild! Yeah, that's the ticket!

Morgan Fairchild? I haven't thought of her since the "Seduction" or was it "Falcon Crest".

Normally I don't try to derail for sale posts - Crunchee did it nicely.

That Chaparral predates the Silver Anniversary Strat too with that logic.

Jeez, their problem is obvious.

He said it predates Hammer Standards, not Hamer Standards.

Hammer Standards....like in MC Hammer...can't touch that

I email HER and she says how is she supposed to know..just going off what "someone" else told her to write,,I told her it was all wrong and she replied how do I know I am right..I emailed then the paragraph from the home page here on serial #s and she said it was not official like the Hamer site,So must be opinion not fact.

I see he has received an offer.

...and the seller is still a dumbass.

There is the high road, and then there is the "HIGH" road.

This is the latter, and it is truly a road to nowhere.

Well, if you're going to go after an older woman, she'd be high on my list. She looks great for 64, (though younger by a few years in this clip), and quite a bit "booblier' than I remember her from the '80's.

I was trying to make a 80's joke, that had something to do with confabulation (as in, making BS up)...doesn't anybody remember Jon Lovitz' character from SNL?

I got it. ;)

I kind of felt old/dated over the weekend when Petty's "Jammin' Me" came out of left field over the speakers...pretty much every line in that song dates it to the early '80s.

No, that was one of the Rappers from the Wu Tang Clan - who then jumped off a bridge.

Unfortunately for him, he survived.

With any luck it will catch on and be "trendy" through the rest of the Rap Community.
