This stuff is supposed to help out the cause.  Make people commit to paying what is necessary for at least a reasonable profit.  It is becoming more common to pay upfront like they do with that go fund me stuff so you guarantee profit before you have stuff made.  Stick together and everyone can get something good out of it.
