hamerhead Posted October 19, 2018 Posted October 19, 2018 I use a hunk of styrofoam (ripped from a triangular guitar shipping box) with a small towel over it. I'm thinking about upgrading.
bubs_42 Posted October 19, 2018 Posted October 19, 2018 I bought one of the Planet Waves Tri Pods, but honestly I'd rather have this. https://www.musiciansfriend.com/accessories/music-nomad-cradle-cube--neck-support-for-all-stringed-instruments/j18853000000000?cntry=us&source=3WWRWXGP&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIhIPQ4b6T3gIVBRxpCh0XMgH2EAkYEiABEgK3IfD_BwE#productDetail
Jeff R Posted October 19, 2018 Posted October 19, 2018 Carpet rolled into tubes and tied with fishing line. Cheap and effective. I have two, one for electrics and one for acoustics (larger) and they bounce between my shop's three workbenches.
Hbom Posted October 19, 2018 Posted October 19, 2018 I bought a set of Rock-n-Roller neck rests from Stew Mac. Meh. I mostly use a soft leather rifle rest sand bag.

I wonder if a regular old balloon is nitro safe? Put a little sand in a balloon and you got a great neck rest for pennies.

Bought this Music Nomad Cradle. Works perfectly for a variety of instruments. Is also a killer cellphone cradle when you want to use speakerphone mode.

HAMERMAN Posted October 23, 2018 Posted October 23, 2018 Sorry to derail this further but any idea whats up with the two tone logo on that Jackson? ( J, o and o are white, a, c, k, s are grey)
Jeff R Posted October 23, 2018 Posted October 23, 2018 It's a MOP script logo in the standard multiple pieces, it's just the angle of the photo and the variation between the material in the pieces.
