That was the coolest thing about that band. 1
Disturber
I love this cover edit: would have been even better if she would not have worn panties. 😆 Edited August 12, 2023 by Disturber

HamerCustomEr
How about the self-titled album for Tom Scott and the L.A. Express? It features Larry Carlton, and I think that Robben Ford plays on it as well. (No, that is not either of them on the cover.) DaveH
Budgie always had cool covers... Same artist that did the Yes covers. Mat Sinner has cool artwork too. I had the promotional poster for BS at one time. Plenty more, these just off the top of my head.

Willie G. Moseley
^^^ RE Black Sabbath: Indeed, the visual 'creepiness' and morbid rainstorm intro to the first song figure into why I personally don't consider the Sabs to be among the founders of heavy metal. Instead, this album could have been considered--and perhaps should have been considered---as the debut album in a genre called 'doom rock'...which would have inspired other downer musical stylings. YMMV. And sometimes, in discussions about So-and-So's first album, someone may have to make a brief mental effort to recall what the cover looked like. Not so with this one (for me), perhaps on accounta the visuals coordinated perfectly with the musical vibe and content.
