....Jason? Calling Jason...... :P

Gold and red really doesn't work, does it? And what's with that reasonable sized headstock logo....yuck!

Like the boomers though....

(See...I'm tearing it down because there's no way I snake this one, this time.)

To quote the ad:

Speak for your self, pal.

I know this guitar. Its one serial number off my ice pearl cali that I sold a while back. I remember it coming up on ebay a few years back and bidding just because I thought it would be cool to have 2 with consecutive numbers. It didn't go for anywhere close to $1700 back then or I would have promptly put mine up for sale at that price. If its like mine its got a pretty beefy neck on it for a Hamer. Not too big, just, chunky.

Nah, Tobereeno. I'm all Cali-ed out. But more importantly, I wouldn't buy that guy's ax out of principle for stating "Plus, I am over 40 (no pointy guitars when you hit the big 4-0, my friends!)" He needs to be bitch slapped for pussin' out with that uttered lameness. Ah well. Just one less putz to deal with for us bottom feeder, midlife rockers.

Makes me wish I was left handed. Well... not really... But what a guitar!

LEFT HANDED GUITAR-HAMER CALI USA

I have no idea of rarity, but I don't recall seeing many (any?) of these through the years.

Don't own any, but disagree strongly with the seller's contention about pointy guitars being inappropriate after age 40.

I agree with him completely. That's why I'll be selling my Cali in May.

Not.

That's got to be the same one I posted about on the Huntsville CL.

A fantastic looking guitar for the discerning south paw! :D

Oh, nevermind then. Apparently it will be fine to move slowly.

Seems like that would move more quickly than it is. I know nothing of shredder types, but you'd think as scarce as lefty-oriented guitars are, one this nice would go in minutes. That price doesn't seem too steep from what I am recalling the righty-oriented models going for.

Turns out that the guy with this left-handed Cali https://huntsville.craigslist.org/msg/5129775751.html

is the guy I bought the Boogafunk from earlier today http://www.hamerfanclub.com/forums/topic/71633-new-cabinet-day-boogafunk/

He seemed like a pretty cool guy, and I will say that the cabinet sale went very smoothly. He says he will take $1200 for a local deal for the guitar. In other words, he needs $1200 and getting it to the buyer is up to the buyer, financially speaking.

If you contact him, you might mention you're from the HFC - he's aware of it, and even joined a while back, but hasn't been active. He's had quite a bit of interest but most of it has had some "out of left field" aspect to it that caused deals to fail.

I could possibly facilitate, since I'm local, but I'll say that I am also not a fan of "out of left field" stuff. Still, it wouldn't hurt to ask.
