Set neck with the blended heel, Original Metallic Red finish, frets are original and in great shape. This one was ordered with the upcharge bound fingerboard option. Original Duncan parallel axis pickups. Stadium Hamer logo. For those that own/have played setneck calis know these are a different beast than the bolt-on neck versions. I equate these to the "shredness" of a Cali or a Soloist but with the "beef" of a Les Paul. There are two dings on the top edge of the body that were "touched up" otherwise super clean. Excuse the fingerprints on the guitar that show up in the pics. Very fast neck. Comes with original Hamer hsc. Asking $2500 plus actual shipping costs 2. 1991 Californian Elite-solid flamed maple body with Antique yellow finish. No breaks or repairs. Frets are original and in great shape. This one is really clean, the bridge pickup was changed to a parallel axis with the pole pieces as oppose to the blade pieces by the previous owner. I have been asked by many people if it is really bright with the solid maple body but I don't feel that, this one has a very warm full tone. Could be due to the change of the bridge pickup, not sure. Tres Aardvarks Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 I can almost hear Tobe swearing a state away!That maple Cali is very similar to mine (mine is bound, and has the stock pups) and I'd NEVER accuse her of being too bright. She's my #1 guitar, and actually has a great sound. It always got the thumbs-up from the guys I played with in Colorado.
