That would be fun. I think you mean this one......Let it go a while ago. FWIW, the "acoustic" side of it worked less well than in other guitars. But certainly still good. I do regret selling my "Ultimate" custom order Duotone.....Sort of a mashup with the style of the Artist Ultimate and special pickups and wiring. Ah well...

Buck can still play and sing today as good as he ever did back then. -

Once upon a time, I had pondered selling it.....I had a long conversation way back when with Mr. Shishkov about building (one or two) variations on the theme, just a few little tweaks I had in mind for my personal taste. Well, it turned out that it would not be happening, so my one Shishkov will have to do. And it is actually a good companion to this one. π Now I understand that David Myka has resumed building, so one never knows. But last I checked with him, he was not adding anyone to his queue.....And I am sorta past the "place your order and wait 3 years" stage.....π€¨

Dad passed in 2021, but he made it to the ripe old age of 89. Had his first "tune up" when he was 59. They are so much better at it now. The technology just keeps increasing the life expectancy from bypass surgery. Sound like you're getting all the steps you need. Try intermediate fasting five days a week. That's what I do. Twenty four hundred calories, but meals twelve hours apart. I don't even watch grams of fat or anything. Just calories and fasting. On the weekends, I eat what I want when I want. But I find I really don't go overboard after years of the "system". It's not easy at first for people that like to snack, but it's miraculous when you get it down. Go kid!

Yes, I saw that. Nice guitar, but not for me. GLWTS! -
Simplified, I is water soluble (and the cheapest of the three formulas), II is considered water resistant, III is considered waterproof. Nitpicky as it relates to guitar repairs, sure ... until you have to clean up squeeze-out onto/into an old and/or checked finish (binding repairs and head breaks immediately come to mind); or redo a bond due to a re-break, an unforeseen misalignment (pieces drift, glide or slide during tape-up or clamp up, it happens to the best of us) ... or an aging joint's swell or "creep" over time due to environmental exposures, that may require a separate-and-start-over approach for best results. In all those cases, red label, wet or dried, can be compromised and/or cleaned up with hot water or steam and a toothbrush or a soft-metal-bristled brush, with little if any risk to the surrounding finish, binding, whatever. Green and blue label cleanups and removals are more delicate and intense, more time consuming, and includes a LOT MORE cuss words. I "can" drive a nail with a hammer, a rock or my forehead, but the consensus is the hammer is the best tool for the job. I can use any of the Titebonds to fix guitars, sure, but red is the consensus for guitar work. Just use red label, even if only as a favor to whoever may have to possibly revisit your fix years or decades from now.

Received this 2024 Charvel Custom Shop DK 24 in 2025 but decided didn't really need 2 from the same run. Or did I? I put it up for sale and after no movement in 9 months, I took it down and took it out. Dayummmm! What was I thinking? Sweetest neck evah. But if I was gonna keep her she was gonna need mods. Her stripped down, built for speed configuration left me with no room for my array of overused and outdated fretboard shenanigans. So... A Gravelin Mongoose/Sustainiac Stealth/toggle switch and kill switch pot later, she's suitably armed to inflict maximum auditory damage on innocent bystanders via my back alley brawler style of playing. π

@lang Did you take a look at my Artist Korina P90 + Filtertron? -
Herzlichen Dank. Ich kann es selbst noch kaum glauben.
-
Thank you. It's unmodified and comletely in original condition.

Almost. Actually there are a few small dings and scratches on the back. Out of the time capsule are both warranty cards, a still sealed (!) envelope with the key for the case and a historic set of Fender DYNAMaX strings. And both guitars have received my usual treatment before being photographed.
