  1. One of my all-time favorite songs!! I love sooo much about it. I bought the album but it didn't thrill me as much as this one. The singer married Liv Tyler lasted 5 years. Didn't know this but her adoptive dad/ legal guardian was Todd Rundgren!
  2. Yep, looks like a $5000. crack to me! But it is a beauty! 😍
  3. Bryan was cool to let these go for cheap. I told him at 61 I've had a few surgeries on my arm and I wanted to try the lighter gauge. I mean I've tried eights before but it's probably been decades! Has anybody tried sevens?
  4. With the SD p-rails PUs it goes humbucker series, parallel, p90 side of pu, single side of pu . SD p-rails "Truly unique and versatile humbucker pickups that combine a Hot Rails coil with our Vintage P90 to give you unmatched tonal variety." It can be used with regular 4 conductor PUs but without the p90 side and hot rails side it won't be quite as versatile.
  5. Is it possibly the little circuit board from those Seymour Duncan multi switch pickup rings? Why can't I remember the name? I use them on one guitar and I think they're pretty cool!
  6. His joy of playing music is infectious! He can just be ripping it up effortlessly and just smiling ear to ear! Great player and teacher and has so many cool behind the scenes stories.
  7. Did Brad play over the mountain while moving the guitar high above his right shoulder than back down again and again, back and forth? That's what I remember anyway. Sorry for the thread hijack. But apparently not sorry enough not to do it! 😉 I also found this old interview which I guess is where we might have been led off track... How is your new guitarist, Brad Gillis, working out? Brad's working out fine, he really is. Every time we play he gets better and better. He's an unknown guitarist from San Francisco. How did you find him? Through Pat Thrall, who used to play with Pat Travers. He put me onto him.
  8. I missed seeing Randy too. I saw that tour at The Cow Palace SF but everyone back then said it was Pat Thrall. Was there any truth to that or did I actually see Brad? Damn, now I'm wondering if it was really Ozzy!! 🙃
  9. That's a good point.. can't copyright chord progressions but you can the melody. So I'm sure someone's already using super computer power to come up with multiple permutations of melodies and copyright them in his or her name. Then have AI monitor all streams for similar melodies, at least the ones making money, and then sue the pants off them! Uh, I need to go, I uh have a project I'm working on... Sharon Osbourne would love to corner this copyright market. It reminds me of when the Internet first appeared and people were buying up domain names etc. cheaply just to sell to others later for big bucks.
  10. I love the custom blue fretless fingerboard. Super cool!! 😉🤣😁 I'm surprised how nice the wood looks. I might need to look into those kits. Nice job on the neck heel too.
  11. I vote centaura, stripped body and put pickguard on too.
  12. Nice pics! Yeah I have a friend that does websites for a lot of punk type bands. And sometimes when they come through town in Atlanta he'll host them at their house so they have a place to crash. He's done that with Creepshow after we saw them in concert. I was picturing some after show party etc. but he said after driving all over the US in a van pulling a trailer of their gear that all they wanted to do was eat, take a shower, and crash. Very cool band BTW!
  13. Nice pic. Glad you had your cell phone with you.
  14. I went to a Schenkerfest show and it was Great!!! Of course seeing Michael play was awesome but I enjoyed the format of having the various singers sing their songs and enjoyed their camaraderie. They would come and go during the show, some would come out and help another or sing harmonies etc. it was cool! Don't mean to hijack the thread but going along with Rob's post...
  15. Just beautiful! You do great work! I especially like the headstock with the Michael Schenkerish treatment on the Hamer logo. Incredible!
  16. I thought this was really cool! It highlights the musical complexity of the song. She does many other tunes too.
  17. That Beach Boys Endless Summer album was a big part of my youth being born and raised in California. I still remember the days of waking up, listening to some of that album, grabbing my skateboard (with Tracker trucks and OJ wheels if that means anything to anybody here?) and head out for a day of concrete surfing. We lived in a subdivision called Oak Hills in the Monterey Bay area (South of Santa Cruz) which had 3 lane wide roads. You could make a nicely meandering slalom path down or a speed run, and then ride everywhere on that thing! Later on back at the house, the beach, or our neighbors pool, more Beach Boys tunes. Go to sleep listening as well on my Panasonic single speaker boom box. His tunes were the soundtrack to some of the most carefree days of my life!! Their car songs made me ache for a car. Songs like Surfer Girl etc. inspired my first crushes and loves. In my Room. for those times when that place offered the best sanctuary of the cruelties of growing up. He seemed to have all the answers for me and my life even while he couldn't seem to find them for himself. Brian Wilson, RIP!!
  18. Cool! Talking the talk and walking the walk!!
  19. Yes, I saw one of the Schenkerfest shows if that's what they called the shows with all the original singers performing which I thought was a really cool concept. I thought everybody did fine for how old they are now! Of course I love seeing schenker play but I also enjoyed the camaraderie of the various singers together. Those UFO songs shows should be great!
  20. I would love that but it just seems too good to be true! Maybe if I were local... Thanks for the heads up regardless!
  21. Yeah, I saw some of Extreme with Nuno tearing it up on a stage at the pool level with people overlooking from the deck above. It didn't look that crowded which was nice. Maybe Kip Winger was posing for pics elsewhere... not WITH the fans just posing for pics! 😝😃
  22. Damn, the first cruise this year was speaking my language! The first cruise in March this year had a lot of great bands...extreme, Michael schenker, krokus, accept, Vandenberg. Queensryche, slaughter, Aldo Nova, Tesla. Winger, lynch mob, night ranger and others!! Wow!!
