I love this tune, this movie has long been a guilty please of mine... it was really the perfect song for what was happening on screen... saw them live about this time... "A date with elvis" give or take a year or so. Candy was the bass player, those crazy rockabilly goth dames va va va voom...

goldfinger... not sure what it's called but "here in your bedroom" track three... over and over... love that 90's alt pop punk, horns are cool too...

The recent episode of POD of Thunder critiquing this ridiculous video is a MUST LISTEN!

I dug Hanoi rocks back in the day just heard Michael Monroe’s new song. Last train to Tokyo. He looks different (older of course) but thats not a bad tune from a guy pushin 60. His guitarist Steve conte. His name seems to pop up from time to time. Going to check him out too.

Just finished reading the Van Halen Noel monk book and the Van Halen rising book. I kind of skipped over vh back in day. Went from Aerosmith straight to priest and maiden Reading the book really gave me a new appreciation even if the were totally dysfunctional. So I snagged fair warning at my local used cd store. It was friggin delightful. Going to get the others

Bowling For Soup, Acoustic, Live in a freakin old English Church... they are pretty good acoustically... Waysted "Vices" the Pete Way solo band, loved this cd back in the day and just finished his book. One of my heroes, but kind of a sad read as he never seemed to pull it together...

The Hoodoo Gurus... Mars needs Guitars. only I would keep hitting replay after the 1st song Bittersweet, as perfect a three chord power pop song as you could ask for. was painting all weekend, and gf had on iheart 70's music, the soft rock classics of the mid to late 70's was hard to take after a while... Thank you Eddie Van Halen and David Lee Roth for livening things up! .

I was lucky enough to see the scorpions opening for rainbow on the blackout tour... they were amazing... so good, tight powerful set, really pro... and then rainbow came on, organ solos, endless noodling, blackmore smashed a cheap strat copy and his wig fell off (ok that didn' happen)... but there's was no doubt who won the night. and riot was the opener... we got to watch them from the first few rows. winning!

I like em... nice neck profiles (fuller than the 93 specials) low key, cut thru the mix, but nice output, they rock.... -

If you don't like to see this crap, scroll down and hit "report item" and a dropdown item will appear choose "copyright infringing" and then choose "counterfeit" -
yes, and have built my own wiring harnesses as well. but I'm not a serial swapper, I don't pay $300 for a pair of boutiques and won't pay $25 for a bumble bee cap. (fave is probably the SD alnico pro II in reverse zebra, which can be had fairly reasonably) and having working in the electronics industry for a bit, I kind of have a skeptical eye towards the amount of new old stock stuff that seems to be never ending.

from last summer. most of the value in the deal is from the real estate. http://nypost.com/2013/08/03/new-york-times-sells-boston-globe-for-93-percent-loss/
