  1. Thanks for the heads-up, Ernie.
  2. You mean we don't need 4 threads about a guitar nobody gives a shit about?
  3. Oh, I thought it was 1,958 Les Paul Standards. That would have been a lot.
  4. At least the buyer didn't pay 20 grand. That would have been stupid.
  5. Biff should give every one of them a punch in the head.
  6. So lame and predictable. Honestly. Who's clamoring for one of these?
  7. I posted it because I thought your fundraiser post could use some context.
  8. From her gofundme page: Help Marie Recover from Devastating Dog Attack On August 15th, 2025, my world changed in an instant. Just 18 hours after adopting a German Shepherd with hopes of giving him a loving home, I was viciously attacked and sustained life-altering injuries. What Happened: Despite my years of experience adopting, fostering, rescuing, and caring for dogs, this unpredictable attack left me with severe soft tissue damage to both ankles, my shoulder, and my right hand. Most devastatingly, I lost part of my right index finger, though doctors were able to save half the finger - unfortunately, reattachment wasn't possible. I was rushed by ambulance on a 40-minute ride to Bayonet Point Level 2 Trauma Center, where the incredible medical team worked to treat my injuries. Who I Am: I'm a mother, singer-songwriter, and musician who works in marketing. Music has always been my passion and my livelihood, making this injury to my dominant hand particularly challenging. As someone who has dedicated years to helping rescue animals, this incident has left me not only physically wounded but emotionally devastated and traumatized. Why I Need Your Help: The medical expenses are mounting quickly—from the emergency ambulance transport to trauma center treatment, ongoing wound care, physical therapy, and psychological support to help me cope with this trauma. I am also looking to get a functional prosthetic by the end of the year. How You Can Help: Any contribution, no matter the size, will help cover: - Hospital and trauma center bills - Ongoing medical treatments and wound care - Physical therapy and rehabilitation - Mental health support - Lost income during recovery I'm working hard to stay positive and maintain my mental health during this tough time. Your support means more than just financial help; it's hope, love, and a reminder that I'm not alone in this journey. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any support you can offer. I'm grateful for this community and your kindness during this challenging time
  9. Have they actually made any guitars yet?
  10. ...and Roger Daltrey...
  11. First thing I thought of: Sure wish the video quality was better.
  12. Buffered is with buffering, and unbuffered is without buffering.
  13. “Suddenly and unexpectedly.” 82 years old. Suddenly and unexpectedly…
  14. I first saw EJ at the Beacon Theater in NYC in 1991 (Ah VIa Musicom tour). My wife and I had been married about a year, so we were at the stage where we were still playing along with our partners' interests - lol. They performed Hendrix's "Love Or Confusion" - one of my favorite Jimi songs and one that you never hear covered. It was transplendent. I saw him again in '05 in Shreveport, LA with @Jeff R, @Hamerica and @thecajunboy.
  15. You could have been right about the guitar and still lose your marbles. These two things are not mutually-exclusive.
  16. ...and imagine The Shelf!
  17. It was black. As in the photo.
  18. Yes. Everything was sold to an amp manufacturer who started production back up.
  19. lol - same here! Growing up, that record only had one side in my house as far as we were concerned.
  20. The picture is legit. The guitar is not. Greg had a messed up Hamer Phantom with a sound neck and a screwed up SG with a broken headstock, so he mated the two. I was at his shop when he got the brainstorm to create the guitar. We laughed about how everyone on the HFC would freak.
  21. Grab it and throw those knobs under a speeding bus.
