  1. Yeah. Some of us could put it to better use!
  2. Rubbing it in, ain't ya!
  3. The Goonch is the must have album for all HFC members this year.
  4. Let me guess. He is going to put a wraptail bridge on it. Just HOW did you get any kind of checkerboard finish at all?
  5. Whoa! There is something familiar looking about that V, but I cannot put my finger on it. Hmmm...
  6. Whoa, dude! That is sooooo deep. Yeah! Stevie Wonder drives the way HE wants to drive and never sees anyone else as a roadblock to his goals. Thank you for this lesson in coolness. You rock!
  7. Just curious... Jack, do you offer lessons in how to be cool?
  8. Maybe Canada has a rule that bands that are only known in Canada must be included.
  9. Read the article here. So, the Canadian government will sell a bunch of these to music fans who will never use them. Put me down as one of those fans. Does anyone in Canada want to sell some of these stamps when they come out or make a trade for something?
  10. Mine arrived yesterday. I have not opened the package yet because there is a great fear of how awesome the CD inside is supposed to be.
  11. You could do signed bookplates. Some could just stick a piece of paper with your signature on their Kindle while reading your book. Solving problems for the HFC since 1997.
  12. Digging the CT and Rick's Picks talk!
  13. I want two copies signed by everyone involved. One for me. One for a friend.
  14. Wellll... no, there have not been any blackouts. The response to questions has been "it's in the book" a lot lately.
  15. Remind me tomorrow morning to buy your CD.
  16. Do we still have to have a black out on certain aspects of Hamer history because "it's in the book" or can we get answers to our questions since we are all going to buy the book anyway?
  17. Oh, Mr. Moxie, please tell us how you got that photo. The word is that Billy Gibbons only signs one autograph or poses for one photo, but will not do both. How did you get that photo with him?
  18. Remember to give out a huge shrieking whistle while you are at the nursing home just to test a theory.
  19. The most I ever paid for a guitar was $2600 for a Gibson L-7C. My second most expensive instrument purchase was my 8 String Chaparral Bass for $2000, a very nice discounted price on a custom order. The L-7C is gone and the Chaparral value is a moot point since it is not for sale. My korina Vector may be holding its value. My Sunburst has been where guitar money went in the last year. The guitar was bought reasonably. Some repairs added to what I have in it, but in my mind those are nothing more than the cost of use and wear. Thoughts of stainless steel frets one day are not connected to thoughts on the value of the guitar. This one will not be for sale any time soon.
  20. Is this poll about how much we paid or how much we could get? Most of my guitars are Hamers, so the resale might not be so good.
  21. Got in halfway through today's show.
  22. We have the good fortune of Hamer guitars being consistent, so waiting it out is an option.
  23. Hoffman's signature model Framus looks like his white Hamer Vector.
