  1. Phuck dude, that's just TMI!
  2. Yep, 57 Classics http://forum.gibson....sary-sg-custom/ Those pots got you down, mang, *Edit Then again, dude in that link say his isn't a particularily good sounding SG compared to others, with what Serial said too... maybe it doesn't have "it" and never will.
  3. I change the 300k pots out on every SG I get. 500k Pots, PIO caps (.022 bridge/.015 neck), and 50s wiring will wake that bad boy right up. Definitely try it before you start replacing the pups. BTW, what pickups are in it, 57 Classics?
  4. Man, that stuff would put my wife to sleep. QOTSA
  5. Agreed. My money is on Bubs. especially if the Strat Feynman is getting is an EJ like he was looking for. That's a polarizing guitar right there.
  6. Agreed. That SG is SMOKING hot! Great job!
  7. Nice to see you back (but I really could have done without Poe's rear-end resurfacing as well).
  8. Do you mean physically or just via my wallet? My wallet made a trip there and bought a Mirage Maple Top once.
  9. Very, very cool. I couldn't imagine.
  10. So says the seller. There's lots of info about it on here including recent information.
  11. Pizza Day http://www.hamerfanclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=25181 http://www.hamerfanclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=27073
  12. Pizza Day Standard? Man, I miss that git. *edit Whoops! Mine was a '95. Scary how much the mind slips before coffee. (not rf23's)
  13. This It was a sad time for me when that one came up for sale and I was in no position to snag it.
  14. I've got a bar that Stonge made that I'm not using. Send me your shipping address and I'll send it your way. I think I have one of the short, "palm" bars, too. If I can find it, I'll throw it in there.
  15. It was my band's name at the time I joined, but the name itself...? If you've ever had waaaaaay too much to drink, then you've more than likely had lockbody.
  16. That kind of attitiude reminds me of a friend who once mentioned he wanted to open a coffee house up that only served the coffee "he" liked to make, which was frankly undrinkable due to how strong he made it. He to this day wonders why all present that day laughed in his face and told him to save his money
  17. Positive vibes sent from Alabama for a speedy recovery.
  18. Could that be a more unflattering headstock shot?
  19. Glen Danzig
  20. BC Rich = Non more metal
  21. Man... this thread just has "MEOWRR FTTT FTTT" all over it.
  22. 1 ohm! I knew that, but didn't fact check before I posted.
  23. Can you leave the resistors to ground on, or do you have to take them off every time after you bias the amp? My Mesa DC-10 came with a bias pot installed, and instead of spending the coin on a Bias-Rite when the time comes to replace the power amp tubes, I'm thinking of just doing it with my Fluke instead. I've read that you replace the pins to ground with a 1k resistor, but no where does it say to remove them after you get through. As opposed to releasing the magic smoke, I'd thought I'd ask first.
