From one picture? C'mon fella: post some pics...

Was that the one that was listed at $9,999?  It was up there for about 2 weeks.  A lot of guitars, that formerly/allegedly belonged to PEter Fung (a well-known Hamer Collector and member here) once owned it.

That was a clone built to resemble Nielsen’s checkerboard 1979 Vee.  There are a lot of different stories behind it, so I guess maybe reaching out to Paul, Jol or Curt M. would be the best way to get the straight story.

What is the serial # on this one?

Here's #1.

Notice there's no SN like on #2

There IS a serial number on Rick’s real one.

I meant there's no SN on a dark rectangle like on #2. I am sure it's somewhere on #1, just done in a different way.

Gotcha.  Serial #0154 is an 8 string bass in the Hamer logs, if that helps.

It does have awesome artwork. If not mistaken from O'Connor and it has the inscription plate for providence.

I just think it was a great purchase.

An inscription plate from O'Connor is only proof that O'Connor painted it, not that it's a Hamer.

Provenance

Maybe he wrote it in Rhode Island.

Where did you see that?  I don’t think that this was Jim O’Connor’s work.

Edit - just realized the "Rick pic" is serial #1.

Disregard.

Is that the same guitar as shown in the photo with Rick?
