Back when bands weren't autotuned/pitchcorrected/computerized into a steaming pile and still sounded fucking great. I always forget just how good these guys were live.

I don’t know why CT never played, “Heaven Tonight”, live. It’s easily their best song. I like, “Need Tour Love”, and, “Can’t Hold On”, from the Budokan sets.

Sometimes I forget what a freight train rock band Cheap Trick was back in their prime.

I'm breaking out my Budokan CD tomorrow and cranking the shit out of it.

Need Your Love blew my mind when Budokan came out.  The whole album did but that song was such a rocker.

That very well may be. I seen them a couple dozen times since 1979. In 1997 I saw them play a three night stand at the great American music Hall in SF. They played the first three albums. Of course, “Heaven Tonight”, was in one of the shows. Only time I can recall them playing that song.

They do.  I've seen them about 10 times and I know they've played at least twice, possibly 3 times that I've seen.  It's always a treat to hear that one.  What I've always wanted to hear (and never have) is several of their soundtrack songs like I Must Be Dreamin', Reach Out, Up the Creek, Spring Break, and Everything Works if You Let It.  They play That 70's Song all the time, so why not these others?   Oh, and If You Want My Love.  There are songs from every album that I'd like to hear that as far as I know, they've never done.  One cool thing: I went to a Kix show one time and the support band opened with Love Comes a Tumblin' Down.  I was listening and loved it, but I guess I was so stunned I couldn't think of where I had heard it before until halfway through the song!  For you folks who know Kix or are from the DMV area, the band was Vollmer.

Okay, Haynie, you win. You’re the girl with the most cake…

And his tits are pretty nice, too.
