Dude, what happened with the band?

Got an email saying they decided to go as a four piece. This happened about three weeks ago but I licked my wounds and am already jamming with some other bands, taking lessons again and going from there. I did realize I wanna do modern rock vs. the classic stuff though, so that's a plus.

BTW, I neglected to say I scored this one from Elduave. :P

Big, small, baseball, medium neck?

Definitely not a baseball bat neck like my R7...I'd say about somewhere between medium and big.

That's the best-looking '59 burst finish I've seen in 10 years. DAMN! I wish I had a grandma to pawn! :P

This is the second Standard of Jaye's I've lusted after and couldn't pull the trigger on. I almost bought this one new from elduave.

Actually I'm more than cool with everything now. As much as I respect the music I grew up on (which is what the band played), I'm much more into playing modern stuff. After blowing a gasket so to speak, I discussed everything with the main guy in the band, who I met because he bought a GMP from me and is also a killer guitar tech, and it's all cool now.

But I need to sell this guitar so how about $1525 shipped before I go to ebay?

that's better than in Asia - over here, you find out you were fired from a band because all of a sudden no one answers your calls anymore. In Korea, people always get sacked from work on Friday afternoon, so they can get tanked all weekend and presumably get over it. Japan's worse, what I hear, you show up to work but none of your co-workers talk to you anymore.

That is a fan-freakin-tastic (not a real word, but you get it!) Standard. Those pics do not do it justice, and it has an extremely comfortable neck profile and light weight.

Jaye - sorry to hear about the band thing - we were looking forward to checking you out! Our day will come...
