I am fairly new to the forum. Just wondering who are your favorite guitarists, dead or alive. Some of mine are Jeff Beck, Rory Gallagher, Johnny A, Eric Johnson, Jimi, SRV, Duke Robillard, etc...

Most of my favorites come from the stable of great Tele players: Gatton, Buchanan, Bryant, Collins, Kirchen, Volkhaert, Hiland, Paisley, Cropper, Burton, Richards, Rich, Nichols etc., etc.

Modern era:

Tommy T. Barron(Coroner), Pepper Keenan & Woody Weatherman(C.O.C.), Spike Cassidy(D.R.I.), Uffe Cederland( Entombed), Jim Martin(FNM), Bill Steer( Carcass, Firebird), and the last two are not only my two favorite guitarist, they're also friends of mine, Greg Martin ( deadhorse) and Tommy Victor ( Prong, Danzig).

gotta give him credit for coming up with catchy riffs though. While Poison's music is simple and the lyrics truely horrible, it's catchy in that annoying "can't get it out of my head even though I don't want it here" kindof way.
