Jack C Posted March 5, 2005 Posted March 5, 2005 Pete Townshend is my alltime #1.Then Ty TaborThen Angus/Malcolm, EVH, SRV and all the usual suspects.
SteveB Posted March 5, 2005 Posted March 5, 2005 CC DeVille(made you look hahahaha!!) Hey, CC is the KING..... of doublestops. gotta give him credit for coming up with catchy riffs though. While Poison's music is simple and the lyrics truely horrible, it's catchy in that annoying "can't get it out of my head even though I don't want it here" kindof way.
Bass Guy Dave Posted March 6, 2005 Posted March 6, 2005 Players that had the largest impact on me: (chronologically)Tipton/ DowningVan HalenLynch/ DeMartini/ Bratta2 local players (Pete Skermetta/ Fred Nations) gotta mention 'em because they were a big turning point....Angus/ Malcolm Young/ WyldeTaborRobert RandolphThere's plenty of deserving ones, these just are memorable for me.Best Wishes
