edgar_allan_poe Posted June 23, 2005 Posted June 23, 2005 Good luck...Those are about as rare as hens teeth.
Jem Posted June 23, 2005 Posted June 23, 2005 Sorry, i was expecting some kind of visual joke...hell, not even Poe's arse to chuckle at Virt's are in the $3-4000 range IF someone actually wants to part with one so i hope you brought your cheque (check for the yanks) book with ya ! Jem
Jack C Posted June 23, 2005 Posted June 23, 2005 I'm not sure Joe ever sold his marble Virt. It was on ebay a couple times.
kizanski Posted June 23, 2005 Posted June 23, 2005 I am looking for a Hamer Virtuoso. Please send pics to xsajienx@yahoo.com and your asking price if anyone has this badboy. Thanks.Mike. What color do you want?
cmatthes Posted June 23, 2005 Posted June 23, 2005 I thought that the Marble one was at an asking price of between $6,000 and $8,000.He had the Korina prototype with the upper fingerboard extension removed for between $3,000 and $5,000 if I recall.By the way - you're more likely to find hen's teeth than one of these for sale!

Jem Posted June 23, 2005 Posted June 23, 2005 And a Floyd'd one at that i wonder how many springs it's got to keep that scale length under control. Anyway, who wants to buy both my FBII's, my Gary Moore, my my my my....oh my, time for a lay down i think ! Jem
Nuclear Wessel Posted June 23, 2005 Posted June 23, 2005 That reminds me, I gotta stop in at the little local guitar shop in my girlfriend's neighborhood, where I came across my $350 Robin Medley. There's a $300 Virt hanging in a little shop somewhere, and I'm gonna be the first to find it!
gatorbyte007 Posted June 23, 2005 Posted June 23, 2005 Thats funny. Never say never. Peter this ones in your court. Who would of thunk it. HAHAHAHA

Well, TG found his for waaaaaay under the going rate...and from what I hear it made it's new owner very happy in a trade
Luke Posted June 24, 2005 Posted June 24, 2005 It is sold, I called them in Japan. The person said they have to update their webpage soon.
Brooks Posted June 25, 2005 Posted June 25, 2005 Wow. Never seen a Celestial Virt before! thats spideys bands logo! no chit, he had it on a 4x12 too.
tobereeno Posted July 1, 2005 Posted July 1, 2005 i wonder how many springs it's got to keep that scale length under control. just three springs on mine, strung with 10-48s. It's certainly stiffer than 10s on a strat, but not that much more - it feels lighter than 11s on a standard scale guitar.
tobereeno Posted July 1, 2005 Posted July 1, 2005 that one in Japan, the one I found here in Korea...I wonder if any others that were made in the same few months were sent over to Asia
BCR Greg Posted July 2, 2005 Posted July 2, 2005 Did any other pics of the Virt Doubleneck surface yet?
