I just got home from NAMM, and had a great birthday (since you guys TOLD me to!)I celebrated all day with some cool folks, but if I name drop you won't believe me. I WILL tell you that Matt Smith took my wife and I out to dinner to a Korean barbecue that we go to every year(actually, it's the top brass from Kaman Music, Matt(as clinician), us lowly Platzers and the top staff from the Korean arm of Kaman Music). Food beyond description. A great time was had, and there was a surreal Dali moment when that bitch Matt got up and started to sing "Happy Birthdayyyyyyy to youuuuuuuuuuu!!!!!!" at the top of his lungs. EVERYONE in the crowded restaurant joined in, but only 10 people knew my name so the silence by everyone else when it got to the name part was hilarious!Again, thanks to all of you.
