Travis Posted October 31, 2009 Posted October 31, 2009 Travis! How's it going, man? We miss you. Thanks, man. Been crazy busy with the new job so I haven't been around much. I sensed a Tally thread on the board so I had to chime in...
gorch Posted September 10, 2010 Author Posted September 10, 2010 Weekend motivation post as well as to support the recent BT Tally offer. The other week I took new photos. I don't know it has been posted yet. Enjoy!
ib2010 Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 Always a good day for EM's pics---- #1 here
belgian Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 BruceM liked mine so much he bought one himself ! Same guitar played by a "pro" http://www.youtube.com/user/conraddm#p/u/28/Fh_K35Gx-Ow
gorch Posted September 13, 2010 Author Posted September 13, 2010 Carolyn Wonderland makes me wonder man...She's such a great performer.
moozak Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 i saw this thread pop back up to the top... i had posted earlier... but realized i never came back to show the finished product (though i have posted it in other threads). so... here's the "nightfire" tally... in it's custom case: a couple of pics courtesy of Fat Sound: (with matching headstock) what a great guitar... i've had a LOT of fun with it... though it did take me a while to find the right pickup height that worked for me... once i got it dialed in it's simply been a blast to play! every time i pick this guitar up to play it... i always think "wow... i love this thing".

moozak Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 Wow - stunning !thank you sir!...another cool thing... see that really black fingerboard? that's not ebony... i asked for really dark brazilian with no streaks and consistent grain. when i first saw a picture of it i thought they had screwed up and used ebony (in fact in one of their workshop blog posts they referred to it as ebony... so i emailed them just to make sure)... but still... i was amazed when i saw it for the first time up close! it's totally black brazilian... simply gorgeous.

ib2010 Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 That's off the charts---certainly a masterpiece--- sick inlay material quality---- i saw this thread pop back up to the top... i had posted earlier... but realized i never came back to show the finished product (though i have posted it in other threads). so... here's the "nightfire" tally... in it's custom case: a couple of pics courtesy of Fat Sound: (with matching headstock) what a great guitar... i've had a LOT of fun with it... though it did take me a while to find the right pickup height that worked for me... once i got it dialed in it's simply been a blast to play! every time i pick this guitar up to play it... i always think "wow... i love this thing".
Quietly Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 Well I'm certainly appreciating this one as apart from the looks the build quality is superior to any guitar I have owned. That list includes Tom Anderson, Gretsch Pro, Custom Shop Fender and Gibson. OK she is a special/custom order with no binding on the body, quilt maple capped front and back. I didn't order it or get it new, long story but I did a straight trade with a 2007 Gibson LP Standard for it. Heck let the photo's do the talking More photo's here http://www.hamerfanclub.com/forums/index.p...mp;#entry481820
ib2010 Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 I'm REALLY appreciating the Pro i snagged a little while back. Could be the scale> crazy articulation, dual vols, or the "percolating" tone ??????
Kurt L Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 Here's mine... And one I shipped off to California...
zorrow Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 Effe you all, mothereffers! My TalladeGAS is reaching critical levels because of you all. Sadly, another active deal voids me from acting, but I want YOU to feel my pain!
tonefiend Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 TalladeGASThat's awesome!I was in Guitar Center last month getting strings and was just looking at some of the guitars in their "high-end" room and the build quality of most of it seemed sloppy with no attention to detail compared to Hamers. When I open any Hamer case, I'm always delighted and feel like I own some of the best production guitars ever made. Beyond the quality, just the different types of guitars Hamer came out with are innovative and unique: Talladegas, DuoTones, Newports, etc. Not that I own any, I also like the custom short run (1-30 kinda thing) such as the EM series stuff, Anniversary, etc.
Montelovesco Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 Guys, to be honest: I HATE you. All of you... :-)Just kidding... Raising that (last, I guess) GAS to news heights...
gorch Posted December 14, 2013 Author Posted December 14, 2013 Dunno if you can play. But you can play if you can.Edited,to add: this brings me to the theme to take the Talladega out today if I can.
tonefiend Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Shhhhhnickies! That's a cool setup Deandino - super badass guitars and amps.
