Like that video. From experience, a Tally into a Swart SST is a killer combination.

The Earthens. This is what I was looking for. There are 25 of them. It would be nice to collect them here.

Here is a better pic of #24

I like the uniqueness of the EM tops. They all look great, yet all seem to look a little different.

How does the EM compare sound wise with the standard Talladega?

There are others in this forum who have had theirs for far more years than I have. IMHO tonally speaking, they are distinctly different . For me, the combo of the earthen maple top and mahogany body lends itself to a sweeter tone and a more resonant playing experience. I hear the regular Tally as being a bit more bright. Both are exceptional in their own rights.

I haven't found an amp that didn't work well with it, but of the ones I own the Talladega really gets along with the 65 Amps London Pro.

Chime city...

Can't speak for the EM, my Tally is very resonant - you can feel the strings vibrating through the neck as you play - if that makes any sense... Really my most resonant guitar...

My Tally sounds excellent coming through my Bogner Goldfinger 45

The Tally Pro and Bogner Goldfinger 45's sound killer too. Bogner GF 45's are one of the most versatile, great sounding two-channel amps ever.

A match made in heaven i'm sure.

A Tally Pro that I just picked up from Django. I'm loving it! I wish I would've grabbed one of these a few years ago.

Yeah, I'm not sure where it was supposed to have gone, but it appeared to be sold when I first looked at it. Then, of course, once it became available again, I grabbed it. I've been wanting one of these for quite some time now, and as far as I'm concerned, this one is a keeper.

Seriously, I am happy for you. I tried to find a way of shipping the guitar to Germany, but my contact in the States let me down so it was for sale again. Say "Hi" to the guitar from me, will you?

I love Talladegas. They are badass, yet in different ways.

Talladega Pro really has some chime, sustain and vibrance - the sound just percolates out of it. Full chords bloom with clarity. The neck shape on the Talladega Pro is perfect.

Talladega has some zing and sustain - some really bitchen tones in the different pickup configs. The top on my Talladega is awesome; work of art in the hand of the Hamer craftsman.

Here's a quick pic of my Tally's.

So, I was trying to decide between an Earthen Maple Tally and a regular Tally. After succumbing to peer pressure from Drendino and Django (in my case, peer pressure = "hey, you might like this guitar"), the #8 EM Tally is on its way. I hope to report totally awesome results when it arrives. ;)

Awesome! Please post when you get it. I'd like to see that...

Between this and the Django sales, there are going to be some epic NGD postings!
