jisham Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 Let's see if he gets $2475. Wilcutts has new ones for around that.
marcnorth Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 I believe that one belongs to someone here on the board. He's probably losing money on it at that price. It's too bad new Hamer's have such sorry resale value.I noticed Willcutts makes you call for prices on Hamer's now.

Interesting to see that it has a hard rock maple top, old style jack, and sustain block.
bubs_42 Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 If I had the money if would already be mine at that price. Try ordering one with a Sustainblock and mutiply binding and see how much it cost.
David B Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 Let's see if he gets $2475. Wilcutts has new ones for around that. Not with a sustain block, 4 ply binding & crowns. Note the best offer feature guys.

hamerhead Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 That there would be the 'ultimate' guitar. Perfectly done.Anyone here want to buy one of my kidneys? Liver, maybe?
elduave Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 Thats our own DavidB's. Price and listing format complaints can be directed to: GoPoundSnow AT ElDuave DOT BeatIt Submit offer, yall. Smiles everyone!
tomteriffic Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 That came out of the shop at the same time that my blue quilt one did. After seeing David's, I began to question my own choices and should have gone with the sustain block, but didn't think of it.It's killer. Somebody snag this.
specialk Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 That's a nice one, alright! Let me just fire up the printing press, Best of luck with the sale.
HSB0531 Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 And looks like he got the crowns ordered just in time.
HamStd Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Trust me, I KNOW Hamer Standards. There weren't many recent standards ordered with sustain blocks and there are even fewer 4 digit standards with sustain blocks-can probably count them on one hand), Dave's Yin-Yang set is killer. This black one is stunning. Dave is a GREAT guy to deal with-straight shooter all the way. Plus he knows his guitars (particularly his custom orders) and does amazing setups. Peter
