Sum all the parts together for the build out. Most of them original to the KK.

The kahler trem gets the Heavy Duty spring Kit. Big difference in size between the oem and oversize springs.

My favorite part of the process. Putting it all together.

The Guitar RAWKS! The Super D is what it is, but this one sounds fantastic. Roll down the volume just a lil and things get chewy and beefy.

That's one badass mofo, Murks! I just love how your finishes buff/polish out - pure 6-string sex there... :D

A thing of beauty.

As always, you're work is a joy to behold, and I don't even really like Vs, or single pup guitars, or trems, and yet, she's beautiful.

Inspirational stuff, as always, sir!

Thanks all for the comments. Was a great restoration. It is a tank. I swear the body thickness is oversize. Bobby's vector was here and I measured, the KK is deffinetly thicker (this one). Big old hunk of wood. I believe the palm arm is what came stock on KK's, The twins can verify.

Most pics I have seen KK with the vector was with a palm arm. I have had that Super D in my pup bin for over 30 years, I guess it was destiny.

sounds damm good in that guitar. Surprised me bigtime. Kiz got the other... Might have one left.... Going to take it with me to the up coming guitar show here in Franklin... Nice conversation piece. Then will offer it up here for the fanbois of :)

That palm bar makes a world of difference in the usability of the Kahler. I have one on my old Frankenstrat and it's handy when you need it, you can run it with one or two fingers and it gets the hell out of the way when not needed.
