Hope it’s good but I think that’s a memory best left in the past. I think only one is left and the few pictures I saw a few years back didn’t look good. They didn’t age well. Hope I’m wrong. 1 Quote

My wife presented tickets as a birthday gift before the pandemic. We both were positively surprised about the show. Quite a few young people were dressed up in glam and enjoyed every minute. But yes, it‘s just one surviving member, the guitarist Andy Scott, who keeps the ball rolling. The band is very solid for years, play Germany a lot, and still fill mid size venues. I don‘t know any other Sweet cover band over here that‘s visible in the club scene. Rather are ELO covers pop up Out Of The Blue. 1 Quote
veatch Posted May 31, 2022 Posted May 31, 2022 I'll give it a 7, mostly out of respect for Alan Parsons (and Tommy Shaw...) The ending was a definite "meh" Quote

DaveH Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 Riot Act. Original members of Riot, L.A. Kouvaris and Rick Ventura, collaborated in 2019 to record some old Riot stuff along with new material. Sadly, L.A. passed in April 2020 from Covid. Rick and the others decided to press on and finally released a new album... One disc is retakes from the first three Riot albums, the second disc is all new material. The new singer definitely adds his own presence to the mix while really channeling some of Guy's best qualities. RIP L.A., Guy Speranza, and Mark Reale. 2 Quote

I like all their LPs up to, “BIA.” There has been a run of rare/live/unreleased cd sets out in the last few years but I have been loathe to purchase them. Been finding dirt-cheap vinyl of their early shit around Oakland/San Jose. Quote
