Bob P Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 edited because it doesn't make sense without the posts that were deleted
Guest abner devereaux Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 Certain posts on this thread were deleted because of unwarranted, unprovoked and mean-spirited personal attack(s). The initial post of concern was exactly the kind of thing we do not tolerate here and the offending member has been given a suspension from the board. If this person again feels the need to post with such flagrant disregard for the Board, the members and the mods, that person will be permanently blocked from posting. Ted and I discussed this and are in agreement that this was the best course of action. There is no place for a battle of egos, words, etc. here, and this kind of crap will not be tolerated. The rest of the people here really do not care about any personal agendas, nor should they be forced to endure them. If you have something nasty to say to or about someone who posts here, do us all a favor and keep it offline. Contact them directly via any of the modern miracles of communication available today and please try to come to a peaceful resolution, but leave the HFC out of your line of fire. We are, for the most part, all civil adults here. It is expected that we behave that way.It is regrettable that the posts were able to remain viewable for the brief amount of time that they did, but unfortunately the board is not monitored 24/7. Thanks to all of those who exercise restraint and think before they post.
Hamerica Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 Besides my own, anything four digit. V3 for those in the know. Cardew's Standard Cajun Boy - Flame On! His post was most humbling. You have to give credit to the guys before you that put you in the direction.Anything made for Rick NielsenMirage I's - thank you Terry!Someone had a Sunburst reissue in a quilt top that looked like it was on fire. I think they were from NC. I didn't sleep for weeks after seeing that guitar. Dan Armstrong headstocks Sunburts. And these are just my favs!!!
tobereeno Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 although both of these are held outside of the HFC, I'd sure like to have my mitts on either the Michael Fath or the Tommy Shaw Californian doublenecks...and if it had matching unbound fretboards (either ebony or maple) I'd be gassy for Phoenix's flame Cali dubblemonster
Jem Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 I'm not quite sure, but one thing is for sure.....Pete Fung's got it ! Jem
HamStd Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 Hey Jem-Leave me out of this!!!! I believe somebody already has the claim to fame on essentially everything that is unique, at least in their mind or maybe their pants, just not their wallet until they unload it.Peter.
Jack C Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 I'm sure Steve wouldn't mind that pic being posted, but did anyone think about the sheep's feelings?
HamStd Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 I thought that was Chris, Steve doesn't wear those Lo-rise style jeans......Peter
phoenix Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 Yeah, I saw the photoshop escapade. I didn't really get the dig but frankly the subject's opinion is the only one that matters. My vote is for Whackhead, the only 2 digit I've ever gotten to fondle. And SuziPep's Bass. Planets, planets planets. I sure hope Jol approves the Ace and Gary in-lays for my Wangcaster.
BTMN Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 I'm very lucky to own a 4 digit Hamer, let alone two. To be mentioned as one someone likes feels cool. Thanks! For your viewing pleasure Phoenix and anyone else that loves 4 Digit Standards as much as I do.
Guest galejt Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 Kiz's Senior. Oh wait... JIM'S SENIOR! Bwaaaahaaahaaahaaahaaahaaahaaa!
BCR Greg Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 That is the first official Sustain Block Special of the new millenium.
Guest galejt Posted March 20, 2005 Posted March 20, 2005 How many of the run of BCR Jrs were sustain block?
BCR Greg Posted March 20, 2005 Posted March 20, 2005 None of the "BCR Juniors" were sustain blocks. We did one Junior with a sustain black, last year.
LordOfTheThighs Posted March 20, 2005 Posted March 20, 2005 Busting a gut here...LMAO! That's what I call "back seat driving".
Buzzy Fretts Posted March 20, 2005 Posted March 20, 2005 Good lord! The dog is gonna get snuffed. All for the want of a little mutton....
