DaveH Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 Ok, what is everyone's favorite HFC axes? I've seen a bunch taht really trip my trigger, but there's a couple that just stick in my head: Serial's 'ElectraGlide', and Cajunboy's 'Lake Of Fire' burst. I'm also kind of partial to a recent custom order Korina Special too....... I hope you guys don't mind me posting your guitars......
Travis Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 Mobster's Watson always hits at the top of my list.
hardheartedbill Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 I'm not gonna say as he's never ID'ed this one on the board, but it's deep in Pete Fung's lair w/ a celebrity pedigree
Mike_C Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 The Suzipep planet bass. I don't have a photo of it but that one is awesome.
BTMN Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 Mobsters Trans Blue Standard Custom or Dry's Blue 12 string with matching Flame back are the first ones to my mind among MANY others but that Clear coated Quilt top P-90'ed Standard recently posted has me sweating with possible combos for my first custom order after 23 years of Hamer ownership.
wyldbil Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 The Punisher. Ditto.Although I sure do love my Pepto SS1!
gwayne Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 Phoenix' Cedar-topped Duotone. Also, Arnie Z's Ultimate and Laura Press' Duo 12.
Jorge Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 Yeah, Serial's Electraglide is the BEST HAMER EVER. I tried to get one made for me, but ....nope.
Jack C Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 Bruce M has a silver sparkle Duotone that really does it for me.Silentman also has a guitar in the oven that should really be special.
DaveH Posted March 16, 2005 Author Posted March 16, 2005 The Punisher. Anyone got a pic of this guitar? I can't say that I've seen it yet....I also really like Mike C's 3-P90 Standard!
tafkathundernotes Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 I agree with BTMN - Dry's Viagra bass (B12M) is a beauty.Hmmm.... anybody seen Jim since we switched to the new board?
Disturber Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 I like Hamerica´s old bound and crowned Vector with three pups. That one is cool and probably a killer to play. He's got a cool old beater of a Standard too.
sw686blue Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 These are my favorites:ArnieZ's killer ultimateCajunboy's StudioSomeone here has a flamed teal blue standardMike_C's twin standardsNick
BCR Greg Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 Selling this one was one of my biggest mistakes ever.
Dry Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 Hmmm.... anybody seen Jim since we switched to the new board? Let me check.... Yea he's right here. My favorites (1 none Hamer).
tafkathundernotes Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 Hi Jim - what's the red 12ver? Looks nice, whatever it is.
cmatthes Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 It is the "Widest neck possible" Waterstone Tom Petersson model.I checked them out at NAMM - very cool idea, but that is one big-assed board.
eightyfour Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 Hoping someone has a picture of this one: Tobacco burst Studio Custom with 24 frets and a unique headstock cut. Believe it belonged to Disturber.
Hunter_Brown Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 U B E R - V E C T O R ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Dry Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 Hi thundernotes! Hi Jim - what's the red 12ver? Looks nice, whatever it is. Like Chris said it's a Tom Petersson Signature 12 string bass and it is the "Widest neck possible". It actually plays very easy though. The picture doesn't do it justice. Sounds like a church pipe organ. I'm still freakin' on it.
