kizanski Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 Well, you had to know this was coming, what with Shishkovmania sweeping the nation. Truth is, it has everything to do with me needing to make room, not money. When you have to move three guitar cases out of the way just to get to one of your guitars (and then only to find out that it isn't the one you were looking for in the first place), you have too many guitars. But I guess there are worse problems to have. Anyhoo, For Sale here are three guitars that I bought within the last three months or so. I figure, before I "get to know them" very well, I'll move them out. While they're all fine guitars, they haven't been around long enough to unseat any of my "all-stars." BTW: The photos shown and in the links are straight off the camera. No Photoshop wizardry was used in the making of this advertisement. I'm Mike Abene and I approve this message. The first 2 are from the Peter Fung Collection™. 1980 Special (0 2142) http://kizanski.com/Storage/ebay/80Special/ All original first year Sustain Block Special in Vintage Yellow. Beautiful flamed top. No breaks or repairs. Frets are original and in excellent shape. Original DiMarzio PAF pickups. Comes with unsigned warranty card and original hamer HSC. This one wouldn't be a keeper for me because of the thin neck, but other than that, this is an exemplary piece. $1000, shipped. 1981 Prototype (1 4153) http://kizanski.com/Storage/ebay/81Proto/ Another first year Sustain Block beauty! Original white finish that has faded to a nice crème color over time. All original, no breaks or repairs. Rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. Frets are original and in excellent shape. The neck on this one is larger than the Special, but still too small for my taste. Original dimarzio/Hamer pickups. A few dings on the edges, but actually very clean. Comes with a non-original, recent Hamer HSC. $old! 1996 Wrap-tail Studio http://kizanski.com/Storage/ebay/96Studio/ As you can plainly see, this wrapper Studio is gorgeous, but on closer inspection, you will see a good deal of Pizza Day-itis. It's all on the back and the neck, though, so that beautiful flamed top that you're drooling over doesn't have a single trace of it. Check out the pictures with the link above to get a better look. Frets are like new. The neck is average for this model - right around medium. The previous owner added Wolfetone Marshallhead MKII pickups, which sound wonderful in this guitar. Comes in an unmarked brown HSC. $OLD!
kizanski Posted June 25, 2014 Author Posted June 25, 2014 Can see the pics?Pop-up blocker? The index opens up in a new window. If anyone needs the photos emailed, that's no problem....for me. They're pretty large.
velorush Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 Sumthin's up with Kizanski.com... no pics for me either. When I click the link I get a URL that says it's Kizanski.com, but it doesn't look like the old site. It looks more like one of those domain name placeholders.
matchful Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 Couldn't pull up and your mailbox full. Please send pics of proto and special to 1962lux@gmail.comThanks!
tbonesullivan Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 It looks like the directories have some kind of stock index.html in them that prevents the open directory from being viewed.
kizanski Posted June 25, 2014 Author Posted June 25, 2014 I really think it's just a question of a delay with the Web Host. I just uploaded 50 - 60 MB of images.I've seen this before with them. The links look kosher.Remove any "www" from you address field. I edited the original post to include the link addresses.
cynic Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 Working fine for me. The link takes me to an index with links to each individual photo.
kizanski Posted June 25, 2014 Author Posted June 25, 2014 Yeah... there's a problem with my Web Host.If it doesn't get resolved before this afternoon, I'll have to set up a Photobucket-type thing.Sorry guys.

Hbom Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 I can't see any of your pictures, but it probably doesn't matter.I fell off of the ' My next guitar has to have a Sustainblock' pledge on Monday. And these will undoubtedly be gone before I can afford another.GLWTS though, the descriptions (no pics remember) make them sound like all excellent deals.
Guest gearwhore Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 I tried to send a pm ...no workie...want to discuss the fung guitars

tbonesullivan Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 What exactly IS that pizza day itis on the back of the studio? does it feel like anything, or is it just cosmetic? How does it happen? Should I be keeping pizzas away from my hamers?

Should I be keeping pizzas away from my hamers?LOL!It is 100% cosmetic, done at the factory (I'm assuming by accident - lol), before the clear coat went on.Around here we joke that they all had a pizza party before man-handling the guitars.
