"Fine Man"?

I believe "Dick" is still available, but I would certainly bow to the wishes of the poll.

No too Short. Wait a second maybe it does work for you. ;)

Believe it or not, for the last three years, we've had it on a random program that reassigns a new name every 60-90 days.

I think we should just give him his finest reggae name, and send him of to Jamaica to smoke some fine pot.

I hereby dub him "Fayaman"!!!

Actually, Disturber, [vocoder and wanna-be-a-rapper-Bentley-Continental-GT aside] that's really good music!

Or maybe it's just been too many decades since my Bob Marley phase... ;)

This could be a match, Feynman told me that his ultimate goal as a musician was to be the lead guitarist for a reggae band,,,

Big Marley, and reggae fan here! I even had a dub label in the late 1990's. Reggaemusic has been a big influence on many great rock bands. Just listen to the Stones, The Police, Go'vt Mule, Rush etc etc.

That was my Reggae phase, the 80's when all the bands you cite were experimenting with it. I still remember walking into the music/paraphernalia shop across from campus and finding a huge (for the time) Bob Marley anthology collection of several albums. I didn't have the cash with me to buy it and quickly got distracted to something else. I often wonder what would have happened if I had bought it.

My HFC handle could have been Rastarush!

"The Artist Formerly Known As Feynman"?:ph34r:

I just came from the Prince thread, so that was on my mind.. the third name change is a symbol then, right?

Any suggestions?

Except Bob Marley never had to have a pitch corrector running on his entire vocal track :)

You know, I tried to go on a Reggae tear on Spotify right after posting that. What I found was modern Reggae is rife with 'vocoder'd' vocals. I don't think I heard a single song (on the channels with newer music) that had a singer with a natural voice. I listened to a couple of old Marley tunes (much better) and found that yes, the mood had passed.

Feynman has an App that auto-changes his profile name every week, when he changes his underwear.

...think it's called "underWear's Feynman?" :)
