BlueRedWhite Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 I like Rodney Carrington, and most of his themes are epic....but i guess this one is my favourite https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=djYz6p3i-t0

rj2858 Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 One from the time when parody songs were plentiful.

The Alive at Johnnie Mack Brown High School album is now 42 years old, and every once in a while I'll put it on, and will once again laugh so hard, tears are running down my face, on accounta down here, we heard bands like that when we were growing up...

Oh, man.....Let's hear it for Roadhog! My IT Director when I was in BH was a dead ringer for "Roadhog". And looks even more like him 30 years later (now that he is a "Cowboy Poet"). My NYC born and bred wife does NOT get it, but I love this. So bad it is good.
Bennyboy-UK Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 Anything/everything by Kevin Bloody Wilson... Start with this one...
killerteddybear Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 In between Spike Jones and Frank Zappa were Homer and Jethro, a country duo that parodied popular songs during the 50's and 60's. Also, most stuff by Tonio K. when he's not bitchin' about relationships (some of those are funny too). His album Life in the Foodchain (1978?) is a favorite of mine.
Ting Ho Dung Posted December 1, 2016 Posted December 1, 2016 I wouldn't say this is the funniest song ever but the lyrics are cute and clever. Clark Kent, there was a real Gent. Wouldn't be caught sittin' around in a jungle scape doin' nothin.' Dumb as an ape.
