I'm not seeing how a trade would help his car repair...

yes Chris so it may be easy to sale several cheaper priced gears than one more expensive

and this guitar could stay in the Club family.

but I've not money available for this time, and I hop e to get one of theses one day later if I can't get this

I 'm living at the far west of France and it will be a long run to Austria

The better plan would be for YOU to sell all the cheaper stuff and pay cash rather than a complicated deal that obligates the seller to have to try to sell it all when he just wants the cash. ;)

Of course I would ship the guitar to the US; would love if she stays in the family.

Btw. this is the car in question; contact with a truck last Friday Bildergebnis für emoticon weinen

Considering the price these have been advertised on here for this year I am amazed this is still available.

Great colour too.

Major bummer regarding the car but great about the shipping~

So tempted just for the sake of owning a significant piece o' iconic Hamer history. But alas, that's not really my style or MO.

In the end, if it's not something I could play (and in the manner of my guitar abuse, that's a very misleading term) I have no business owning it.

GLWTS!

I'd keep the guitar and fund the repair with a bank loan. Interest rates are just to low.

No insurance?

Unfortunately I´m the accident perpetrator, so the insurance won´t cover the repair of my car.

Thanks for your suggestion but in money matter I´m conservative and old fashioned.

I don´t want to loan money from a bank unless it´s absolutely necessary.

Is the door functional? If so I would keep the Hamer and save for the repair. First primer paint any open metal area until then but I am no mechanic or body man so please  consider others advice over mine.

+1 on either of the above.  If it were me, I'd keep the Hamer and drive the vehicle as is, but my auto is an old Jeep Wrangler; and on that, it'd just be considered as a 'beauty mark'.  ;)

You know what would look really good on that Standard? A Kahler... <ducks>
