Exactly why I am no longer partaking in any LP Sales. Sean needs to get both feet under him, stand buy his products. In the end you get what you pay for and that is a cheap pedal. I don't think its always been that way with LP, but it seems to be now.

I couldn't keep up with that TGP thread in the end, but somewhere along the line I think I saw that by the time he suffered his "event", his pedals were being ghost-built in a facility that also made pedals for other labels.  My memory is that the brands were fairly well-regarded, but it was definitely not Sean's own shop where presumably things started.  Might he be back to that (his own shop)?  I don't know and won't spend any effort to find out.  I hope he retained all his own intellectual property and was just licensing designs before, if that story was accurate.  There are a couple of pedals I was regretting not grabbing before the "event" and the Super Sic Tone was one.  I am on the mailing list and might bite for another if my experience continues to be good, but I think the spell has worn off.

I like to think that my whining had something to do with it being offered the last time it was.  Mine has been worn, and there are no pics.

I'm three weeks in and not worried in the least.  Everything I've ordered has come in a reasonable amount of time.  Was playing my Purple Plexi at practice last night.  God, I love that pedal...

Came today without warning.  Oh, man.  I am using a PRS Archon amp with the Lovepedal Purple Plexi w/ boost.  I had a Klon clone on the board too.  It's deep sixed and the 200 Pounds of Gold has taken it's place.  This might become my gig rig.  The Kemper Profiler Stage is so cool, but the tone I'm getting from the tubes and boxes is stellar.  Four hours in...

Whoah. Praise from Caesar.

a Bonetender and 200 lbs of Gold from the last SNS just meandered into my mailbox yesterday - mrs stonge had forgotten i had ordered those. Only had a couple minutes to check them out but the first impression was that they sounded pretty good.  Didn't realize the Bonetender was mini-format, but it would be pretty useful with a couple of other minis if i put together a micro 'run and gun' board.

To clarify, the Klon clone is gone.  The board has the Purple Plexi and the 200 Pounds of Gold.  Rob's quote confuses things a bit.  I didn't "deep six" the Archon or the Purple Plexi.

All time based effects are the Strymon Blue Sky, Lex and El Capistan.  Friedman wah too.  Fun.

I don't understand one thing. He sells these so cheap, the flippers flip them consistantly at a certain price point. Why in the hell doesn't he sell them at a higher price point and generate the money for himself. $99 pedal sales for a pedal that brings   $175 all day long and most of the time more.

He's obviously a better judge of value than his fans.

I got the Les Lius awhile back. I like it a lot. Cannot recall the price, but I know it has gone up a lot since then. Several other things I bought, just because I got caught up in the "get it before it goes away" messaging.

So I have a pile of stuff that is largely unused. Some day I should sort through it and pass it along to someone who MIGHT use it. Hardly worth it for recovery of  $50 here and $75 there. But more power to those that have the time on their hands to try to make a few bucks after listing fees and shipping.

Meanwhile I gotta believe Sean is more interested in a longer term business model than "maximize my short term cash flow and lose the support of my customers". And if people perceive a value as being greater than his sales prices, all the more so.

I have tried nearly everything that is up this time except for the COTEternity that is up. I have wanted that one for a while. I have an incoming Timmy that ate up this weeks pedal  money plus a Quilter Superblock US on order .

I still use my Lovepedals nearly daily.

I've never had the pleasure of a Les Luis, so I went looking for videos. This one is made using a clone from PedalPCB, the choice of pedal maker MyFriendDan©️, for a lot of his builds.

Doods driving a cheap 1x15 Peavey with it.

Every time I see a Classic 30 I plug into it and go "Holy Shit these things are good". I do always walk out without it.

That dude sounds pretty damn good.
