Dang, that went pretty quick!

My first 'real' electric guitar was a '95 Special FM, bought new in '97.  Great guitar that I should have just kept.

Cool store.  The wierd thing. It’s in a strip mall but you walk in and it’s kind of classy with couches and wood paneling and all upscale guitars   Funny it’s in a strip mall but real estate is at a premium in Lexington.    I usually hit Wilson farms too.   Killer farm stand.

Very cool guitar (I had one years ago), the main reason that keeps me from shopping for one is that I remember what they used to sell for 20 years ago in nice used condition, and my wallet refuses to open.  ;)

Same. My old ‘95 Special FM was a beast of a guitar with an absolutely killer top. Bought and sold it for $500… 🤦🏻‍♂️

I got my '93 that looks even better than this one from you Dave, it is a killer guitar! (Thanks again!). Whoever got this one will be very happy, Orange Guitars do sound better, it's been proven by Sciences. [Probably, somewhere]

Y'know, every time I do a little research on something that interests me, I lose out. I emailed TME when this first posted, never got a response. I should have just called direct !

My first Hamer was a 94 FM.  Bought new for under a grand from a store that was notoriously inflexible with their pricing.  Still have it.  It's still my go-to for when I need "something with humbuckers".

It's all good man, you were obviously under the influence of drugs when you made that choice. I mean, you WERE wasted when you agreed to that, "right?" Because that's the only rational explanation...  😉

I let a '56 Les Paul Gold Top slip through my fingers over a few hundred dollars in price back in the day; it could be worse, trust me.
