draelyc Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 I’ve shared this one before, but it’s been a while since I was active on here …. And also I just never get tired of looking at this one when I’m not actually at home with them. ❤️
Travis Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 Mighty fine family you’ve got there. Love the wrap tail Studio but you know I’ve got a special place in my heart for Mirages. Let me know if you ever get tired of that one. I feel like I might need one more heavily modded than my others… 😜

But my Mirage has been my #1 since 1998 — she’s never going anywhere. ❤️ At this point, my playing is so adapted to that guitar as to say she’s one of my main influences! 😳
Jim85IROC Posted February 25, 2023 Posted February 25, 2023 Figured I'd resurrect this since I brought the whole family into the house today. It's going to be a Very Hamer Weekend.😆 The whole gang, and a cat: The humbucker crew: The p90 clan:

hamerhead Posted February 26, 2023 Posted February 26, 2023 At the height of my sickness: I still have 3 of those.
Camstone Posted February 27, 2023 Posted February 27, 2023 My Hamer harem grew from this image, but now I am down to two.
Feynman Posted February 27, 2023 Posted February 27, 2023 Beautiful family. What’s the deal with P-90 Duotones?

Hamer95USA Posted March 2, 2023 Posted March 2, 2023 Can I join you all of you on this? Here's my current collection of Hamer guitars. I need to do another group shot again to include the 1993 Hamer Special with P-90 pickups into the group picture.
Vintage Hamer-Lover Posted March 19, 2023 Posted March 19, 2023 13th Decmber 1979 was my lucky day and I started my Hamer family. Intendeing to buy a Fender '79 Anniversary Strat as second to my Gibson Les Paul Sunburst Deluxe I drove to the only place in Hannover, Germany: M.P. (=Musicians Place). It was the only semi pro shop in this area, where The Scorpions, Michael Schenker, Uli John Roth, Eloy, Fargo etc. went in and out. The owner, Peter Woelkl, introduced me to Hamer guitars especially to the Sunburst, new stuff on Custom shop-niveau, freshly imported to Europe. He got six (!) Sunbursts hanging on the wall, one nicer than the other. This one I chose: # 9 1407 From the start she became my Nr. 1 - and still is. In the Nineties at a gig in my hometown this wonderful guitar fell from stage, the neck behind the headstock was broken - a pain in my heart never known before. So I got my trauma and started seaching for adequate supplement... # 9 0939, # 9 0680, # 9 0843, # 9 1407. My trauma developed to enthusiasm, discovering that the late 70's and early 80's Hamer necks had the ideal haptic for my left hand, the PUs had such a wide range of tone shaping and surprize: that Hamer constructed also such a bunch of versatile models: Meanwhile the Vectors had to leave. I can't play them properly while sitting and the endless neck gives me no haptic clues where I am. But the family got some nice new members: a Prototype # 1 4238 with a Seymor Duncan neck P90, a Phantom A5 # 4 10782 with a Seymour Duncan Jimmy Page-Humbucker, both discovered via eBay in Bremen, North Germany a Special # 0 1745 a finally another Sunburst, # 9 0897 Finally? My Hamer Family will see....
Vintage Hamer-Lover Posted March 19, 2023 Posted March 19, 2023 P.S. Just adopted my first Korean family member: An Echotone, which will come next week via eBay from Braunschweig (= Brunswick) ...
draelyc Posted March 20, 2023 Author Posted March 20, 2023 Simply amazing! I’m loving all these pics! Let’s see some MOAR!

veatch Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 Thanks for starting this thread. It's been a long time since we've done this... Hamers: Hamers and Shishkovs:
VECTOR Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 Ok. This is really a goood thread! Today I found the time to take a photo of my little Hamer family. And I realized that the family really, really needs a Scepter Vector sister🙃 Seriuos: it started with a Hamer advertisement in 89 or 90. Around 1994 I had the opportunity to use a Hamer Special FM in a studio and I loved it -but I was a student and could not efford it. 30 years later I am happy to have this stable and I love them all.
