I can say that I like early 90s Specials if the neck isn't too thin.

The section of this guitar where the synth pickup wire is poking up out of the top reminds me of the scene in the movie, Alien, when the creature bursts out of the patient's chest on the table.

So, as someone who has butchered his share of guitars and amps, I'd just like to apologize for this guy in general, recognizing the cringe here is superceded and surpassed only by this iconic movie scene ...

Well, I Do know that the two black buttons below the bridge are there to raise or lower the action.

I just don't know which one is up and which is down.

Interesting aside- that movie scene was shot in my hometown, and those people are not in on the joke at all. The production company wanted the reactions to be as realistic as possible, and those people thought they were extras for a traditional ballroom scene. The guy they solo at 1:38 is a dude I went to high school with. 😏
