After much thinking, I've decided it's time to unload all my gear. First up is my custom-ordered Lucky Dog Evangelist "E" Type. For anyone who doesn't know, Lucky Dogs are custom made in Tennessee by Anthony Sims, who currently has a wait list of more than two years; everything is made by hand so rest assured this isn't a kit guitar.

Anthony told me this Esquire is only one of three he's ever made.  It's only been played in my smoke-free home and kicks all kinds of ass IMO.  It has a four-way switch -- 1. Full-on pickup with no volume/no tone; 2. Volume only; 3. Volume and tone 4. Eldred mod (gives sort of a cocked wah sound).  I opted for the high-end Access gig bag over a hardshell case.

Save a couple choice guitars and amps. You’ll be glad you did. You might start recording or going to an occasional jam in a year or so…l

I told myself I'd "record" ever since I quit playing in bands about 10 years ago. But it never happened and having just gone through a major health scare, I simply realized it's time to move on to other things.  I'll keep an acoustic though.

Sorry to hear that Jaye - hope everything is okay!

Those health scares do tend to change your direction. I hope yours works out for the best.

F**king GREAT guitar, BTW. Looks like an absolute screamer.

I'm good now thankfully but it was scary there for awhile.
