It's a natural law of the HFC: Should any member post or share a listing of a USA Hamer for sale (or any other guitar, mind you) at a ridiculously high, poison-pill price, The Shark shall respond promptly with the phrase, "How much for just one?" It's part of his job around here. Besides, he has to do something with his time aside from doing tax returns, compiling financial statements for corporate clients, play old-guy softball, berate Kiz, and collect high-end custom guitars with stupidly beautiful figured tops.

Or to be more direct, you don't fuck with the classics.

Seriously, I'm not guilty of original thought very often in this life. But I did coin the phrase on this "planet". And nobody will deter me from regurgitating it every single time someone posts a Hamer for sale for twice what it's worth. Deal with it.

Damn that is nice though.
Jon C Posted March 4, 2024 Posted March 4, 2024 There are not many guitars I wouldn't consider buying that have boomers. Unfortunately (or, in this case, fortunately due to $5K ) I was never a Tele guy. Speaking of punctuation....I remember in grade school getting this punctuation test question from one of my favorite teachers: Weve discovered deers tracks at the forests edge It was one of many questions on the test. I missed punctuating the "Weve" and it was the difference between an A and B+. I was the class clown and my teacher had a great sense of humor. I told her I thought Weve was the guy's name. She laughed, shook her head and gave me credit. Thank you Mrs. Jones of Park View Junior High! God Bless you and RIP.

crunchee Posted April 3, 2024 Posted April 3, 2024 The seller sure does talk a lot, but he don't actually say much about the guitar itself, does he?
bruce919 Posted April 4, 2024 Posted April 4, 2024 I think right before Covid hit Guitar Center used had three of those listed at one point all for about $999 - $1199. If the seller can get that out of it good for them.
