Price seems a bit optimistic. Those were around $350 new, IIRC. Rare for a reason? I hate the cheesy finish less now, though.

I think the suppler just interpreted the P.O. as it was written when they were order from Hamer. "One Batch ofFlame top Standards", ya we can do that cheaper then the other guy. .... several months later when they open the shipping box... well I guess it a flame top standard 😕

I just got the same guitar for $350 in better shape with the case the day before I saw this one posted for sale for $2k. It is a nice guitar, but not that nice.

I might have to get me some of the clothing posted here to go with it!

Congrats on the snag!  Askin' stoopidly high prices sure ain't gettin', especially when you can find it much cheaper elsewhere.  It definitely pays to shop around first and compare, plus it's just good common sense!
