  2. I'm in the minority here, but I absolutely hated this movie. At least the second half of it. I knew nothing about it going in and watched it with my wife on the reccomendation of a friend. We were expecting something entertaining with a good soundtrack. A movie about a Neil Diamond tribute act set in Wisconsin is going to be a fun watch, right? That's how it started, then suddenly, it turned into something completely different. I won't spoil it for others, but 🄵
  3. I ordered one through BCR Greg. IIRC, the specs were satin transparent orange with P-90s and tortoise binding. on the neck and body It was a great guitar and very light, probably 7 lbs at most. Sounded amazing.

  5. Yep, I have a first gen Apple M1 Studio computer. I had always planned to upgrade when the M5 version came out. Was expected this summer. In February people started buying them with 512 gb of Ram to run llms. Then the model with 512 was no longer available. I do a lot of stuff with video and using AI to upscale and clean up old super 8 films. I also use a lot of other special effects video plugins that need a lot of power. And use logic and other music programs. So, when the orders got where there were shipping 4 or 5 months away I ordered what I wanted. M3 Ultra with 256gb ram. I was hoping that the M5 ultra would come out before it shipped and the order would get upgraded to the M5 version. Still do but if it doesn't then I can either keep it or return it in the 14 day return window. I want one really powerful computer to use before I get too old to do the things I like doing now. The crazy thing is the used market for these computers, especially with the 512gb ram is ridiculous. Well over twice the price when purchased new.
  6. I canā€˜t help but the combination of a bounded fretboard and pretty large dots on the board make the Newport always look a little but cheap… Like a Teisco/sears&roebuck product…? Now: duck and cover.
  7. I have a Cioks DC5, and two Cioks AC10 units, and they are great!
  8. Another Vote for the Mojotone Hot P90 in the Quiet coil series. They got it all and you don't have to stand pointing in a certain direction to keep the noise down. I tried the Lindy no noise...mojotones sounded better!
  9. Yup, still have it. I put Thorn staple pickups in it and I love it that much more. I have a set of cream ones for sale, if anyone wants them.
  10. Truth there. RAM and storage is nuts now. I'm just hoping the AI bubble pops soon.

  14. Man, in the early days I wanted to learn amp building / modifications. Guitar modifications. Doing my own fretwork. Now I'm buying every guitar I've ever wanted along with amps and pedals. Oh, and a pickup set I got just for Peter Frampton's autograph. Guess what, I just suck. I needed to practice more and think less. Now it's too late. So I'll just sit here and look at all that I've acquired.
  15. I had a Lovepedal zendrive a couple years back. Cool pedal. Sounded good. But just not for me and whatever I have that could be considered a ā€œstyleā€ā€¦. This almost makes me want to try it again to see if I could get along with it this time around. Cuz…. Tubes….
  16. I've soured a bit on Lovepedal. It's really hard to get support on your pedal from him if it doesn't work. I would know. The other thing is he at least once shut down his business due to personal issues and went completely dark for a long period of time. People who had stuff with him for repair were basically SOL. IDK if he found a way to make it up to them offer. Basically, I'm saying if you buy something from him treat it as being without any kind of warranty or support. It's less a complaint about the quality of the product. Also, I've had something like 7 different zendrives before that shut down. One sounds exactly like an original, and the rest all sound different. It's confusing AF but I kept the one that basically looks and sounds identical. I also still have an OD11 which is basically a Tim with one wrong value according to a dude on TDPRI who analyzes such things. 11gauge I think.
  17. Or…OR! An evil corporation that sells lifetime warranties that kill you so they don’t have to pay out. šŸ˜Ž Dont buy that bag Bro
  18. I liked them early on, but as the music in my sphere got heavier - and Chicago went to the pop side - I listened less and less. No denying the talent, regardless. Losing Kath was monumental. R.I.P., Mr. Parazaider.
