  1. Past hour
  2. Jimbilly, here is your chance to make your regret my regret.
  3. beautiful! I had it's near-twin, and regret having sold it
  4. $1500 is my bottom line for local pick up. Great guitar and only selling to fund another hobby.
  5. There's another guy hangs around here that makes those things. Does a pretty good job I've been told. You might give him a call. Humbuckers – Carondelet Guitar and Bass Pickups
  6. Today
  7. The CustomBuckers are tough to beat if you can snag 'em. I way prefer those over the 57s.
  8. Someone I worked with died from brain cancer. A month before his death we had a decent conversation, but he had a rough voice.
  9. My son in law died of glioblastoma(aggressive brain cancer)1 1/2 years ago. Same as Brit Turner of Blackberry Smoke and of course Neil Peart. I don't know if I've fully processed it yet. RIP Jennifer Finch Condolence to family, friends and fans
  10. Darn! Wish I had seen this before it sold. A certain somebody in the fan club sold me their M III several years ago. He regrets selling it and has been asking me to sell it back to him. I absolutely love the guitar so I tell him I'll sell it back when I have a replacement.
  11. Board works great! Thanks, Ted!
  12. Of course. I've never heard of that hideous thing, though.
  13. Jennifer Finch, the bassist, vocalist and songwriter whose ferocious presence helped power L7 through the ’90s alternative-rock boom, has died. She was 59. Finch died following an aggressive form of brain cancer, according to a statement announcing her death. L7 paid tribute to Finch in a statement, writing, “We are shattered by the loss of our beloved bandmate, sister and friend Jennifer Finch, whose fierce spirit, humor and boundless creativity helped shape L7 and changed all of our lives forever.” “Jennifer was a true original who lived entirely on her own terms, and the impact she made on music, art and everyone lucky enough to know her cannot be measured,” the band continued. “We love her beyond words and will carry her with us always. Rest in power our dear friend.” The statement was signed, “With Love, L7.” Finch’s death comes shortly after L7 shared that she had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer and would be unable to join the band’s upcoming farewell tour. The band said at the time that she required extensive medical care, rehabilitation and professional in-home support following multiple surgeries and serious complications. --- Finch had announced her diagnosis about a week before her death. Fuck cancer. RIP, ma'am.
  14. Well, you certainly have great amps. The Deluxe reverb clone should sound great with it as far as clarity, unless you really have it cranked. I had a '62 reissuethat i put 57's in, and it sounded great. I also had a 2010 Standard with a set of Duncan 59's that sounded really good. Now I'm using my P90 SG's all the time and playing my Hamer 25th anniversary for my mahogany humbucker sounds. I also switched to 9's after years of playing 10's because my 66 year old hands are tired. That actually had a pleasing effect on my clean tone. I have a '68 Drip Edge Deluxe Reverb, and a killer 70's Princeton. The both sounded great with all my SG's. Good luck on the quest!
  15. Agree 100%! The '83 show with Snowy was probably the best rock show that I ever saw. Scott was on a stool with a broken leg. I was jammed against the stage right in front of him, and just to the side of Phil. Unreal memory. Agora Ballroom in Atlanta. Chinatown Tour I believe..

  17. I couldn't remember offhand. I'm becoming my dad with names. I did catch it on a special they were having around Christmas that year. I don't recall the exact price, but it was surprisingly affordable for being built by Wayne himself.
  18. Yesterday
  19. Good catch! It's a size L—arguably the most valuable accessory in the package. 😂
  20. You left out the most important part: what size is the t-shirt?
  21. Which one are you?

  24. Nah, I actually know the answer, I was just trying to strike up a conversation 😂.. That's a California Woody... The Monster is a unfinished mahogany body as opposed to alder or ash... both unfinished "oil rubbed" to let the body breathe... Rock Legends are custom painted 🎨 That's a killer guitar you have there... Lemme know if you ever decide to sell In other words, Dibs! 😂
